β β β β β This restaurant offers ramen customisation option but it was too much of an hassle for my hungry stomach so I went straight with the chefβs recommended Butao King ramen. I like the thin noodle which taste flavourful when coated with the soup. While the soup is more oily and food is generally okay, the restaurant can improve on their staffβs quality of service for a more enjoyable customer experience.

β β β β β Good location for quick fix of tonkotsu ramen. You get to customize the ramen to your liking, like thin/thick noodles, noodle hardness etc. I love that they have the option to change the chashu to kakuni.

β β β β β Walked into ION Orchard and made a beeline to the basement, discovered our goto ramen restaurant for high standard bowl of delicious Hakata style ramen. The levels of customisation for the ramen is something we adored, and the price is although not cheap, more than made up for it with its savoury rich broth and generous servings of ingredients. A must go for ramen lovers. Pity the garlic flavour ramen has been out of stock for quite some time though. Highly recommended!

β β β β β Awesome broth. I like the ability to customize the ramen to individual liking. From texture and size of noodles, quantity of sauce, garlic, vegetable topping. I would have given it five stars if not for the service.

β β β β β My experience with the Suntec one has always been hugely positive, and those who know me will know that it is probably my favourite ramen eatery in Singapore.
Unfortunately, the experience with this branch has been underwhelming. The broth isn't quite as thick and flavourful here, and I was rather disappointed with that. Their fried chicken is as good though, but was left on the counter top for a bit because they were understaffed.
Attitude from the lady working on the floor was good, but a mix up with orders had 3 tables worth of food served wrongly. We all ended up getting our food taken back, left it on the counter top, and after a minute or two we were served again. I could tell another table was pretty turned off by this as their food was initially served to a table who were all talking loudly and laughing, with saliva probably spitting everywhere.

β β β β β Nice and rich. I went for the original king butao (spicy level -4) which wasnβt that spicy actually but enough to feel a bit of heat. The portion is not big (thank goodness) perfect for ladies, but gents might need to add extra noodles.
The mini gyozas were really delightful! Literally each one pops nicely in one mouth and itβs actually quite juicy. Except for the underside that has the crispy skirt, the gyoza itself feels steamed, so it helps to feel slightly less oily.

β β β β β Highly customisable or fuss free order, itis up to you. Add lots of condiments & top up all meats at fair prices too.
Must try the Red King spicy ramen, it is best among the 4 colours ramen. White, red, green & black.
Gotta try them all.

β β β β β Appreciate the customizations you can do to your noodles, soup and toppings. Free marinated beansprouts at the side. Green base tastes like pesto which is refreshing for a ramen dish. You can choose spicy level from 1 to 10 - tried 5 and it's not as spicy as I expected, would probably try 8 next time.
