β β β β β The food is nice, you can adjust the sweetness of lemongrass yourself! But the staffs simply canβt wait to expel the customers from 9 pm by starting mopping the floor and trying to take away dishes apparently not finished yet. The waitress also took the utensil container almost right after our first dish was solved, leaving all the tissues and spoons on the table, kind of inappropriate during pandemic.

β β β β β Pros:
- relatively cheap compared to other restaurants
- Mapo Tofu not too bad
Cons:
- Steamed Chicken Rice is definitely below average and not comparable to most of Hainanese Chicken in Singapore
- Both roasted chicken and steamed chicken very dry and not tender at all
- Shrimp omelette is over cooked and also very dry and plain
- Chicken rice also not good at all

β β β β β Ordered the take-away bentos, beef shank and tendon with noodles and another white chicken with chicken rice. Both came with pickled sliced cucumbers, which is nice and crunchy. The acidity provides some balance to the slightly oily chicken rice and the beef shank. Chicken is tender but do not be misled by the amount in pic. The chicken is actually placed on top of more cut cucumbers ?, but nonetheless it was good enough for me. The other side is deep fried tofu with a spicy sweet chili sauce. As for the beef shank/tendon noodles, though the gravy is flavourful and the few chunks of beef is tender but it is missing beef tendon. I have also bought from the Plaza Singapura's branch, it also didn't have tendon in it and that was a little disappointing as that was my favorite part.
Service wise was just so-so, was left standing at the counter for a bit before someone attended to me. Thereafter, the cashier left me with a 'you wait outside' where there was a table for the pickups to be collected. I waited, from time to time, a staff would come out to place the packaged food and then went back in straightaway. The rest who were waiting around would go and 'check out' the bags to determine if it belonged to them. I didn't quite like the idea of having anyone checking out the food with their hands. The staff could have called out a number so that the right person would go forward to collect instead of everyone looking through someone else's food. Perhaps this is an area where they can improve on.

β β β β β Not sure if is the chicken from different country but just don't feel the same as in Thailand. Even the sauce seems to be less spicy and strong.
Rice taste normal and price is really expensive for a chicken rice like this.
They serve many things cater to local taste in Singapore too which you will not see in Thailand.

β β β β β I'm quite a fan of chicken rice. I went to Bangkok, Thailand and also having here in Singapore. The taste doesn't go wrong and never I disappointed, I recommend my friends to try as well too. Love the chilli and their signature sauce that blends well with the chickens, my favourite chaipo omelette, aside for the duck and mushroom soup, the duck meat was extremely hard to munch off but that's not important, the soup taste delicious, The rest doesn't overtake the amazing chicken rice! Iβve been visiting here numerals times ever since it opened. The food and serving arrive fast. I never encountered any problems with them.

β β β β β The chicken rice is really good but the portions are small. Order the half chicken if you like more meat. The sambal Kang Kong tastes like how my mom cooked it when I was young. The chendol also brings back memories.

β β β β β Great chicken rice, have yet to try the one in Bangkok so canβt really give an accurate comparison.
But generally wonβt go wrong with the Chicken rice. The kai lan and the 3 veggies thing. Chai poh omelette is a must try! Tom yum soup was alright.
Fairly pricey meal, but once in awhile itβs alright.

β β β β β Good: Friendly staff, pretty good service. Realise one of the orders was wrong, and they rectified it on the final bill. Seemed like the place has a good history. Interesting condiments with the chicken rice, more sour taste reflecting Thai preferences I suppose.
Bad: Relatively pricey, for the same cost, I can go to a hawker centre and get better Hainanese chicken rice. Ordered both the regular chicken rice and the drumstick chicken rice, but there's no difference. Staff even claimed that it's the same because they merely chopped up the chicken. Food is merely average. Think the best dish I had were the veggies.
