★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s okay. A bit too spicy and not so vinegary. Meat balls a bit flat in taste, but otherwise decent portion for $5.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generous on the ingredients. The noodle and pig liver is cooked just nice. A good bowl of minced meat noodle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would consider above average for its taste. The noodle quite Q.. - 1 ⭐️ because of the long queue; should implement a buzzer or ticket system so that customers don’t need to stand in the queue to wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 肉脞面干 Pork Noodle (Ba Chor Mee)
? Food wise: This is the dry Ba Chor Mee, though it looks like soup, by the time you stir the bowl completely, the "soup" is gone.
The first thing I ate is the liver, even the stuff I don't really like in a Ba Chor Mee managed to make me compliment it. It was tender and chewy, well soaked with the sauces. It comes in 2 big pieces of it too!
Meat, generous amounts, well minced and flavourful. There are pork slices too! The pork balls were succulent and fragrant. All the goodness! Fried pork lard, is not overly fried, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, flavourful overall.
The noodles, so Q, all soaked with all the sauces. Quite hearty already by itself without the ingredients.
Last two specials, the big ball of wanton and the fried fish slice. The big wanton, soft and thin skin, wrapping its big ball of meat inside. The fried fish slice, not only a nice deco, but a tasty one!
Still reading? Appreciate it! Tasting mouth by mouth, typically being critical about my Ba Chor Mee, all the way was, good, good, good. Surprises on every mouth, as though they try their very best to win on every mouth on this bowl.
✨ Ambience wise: Coffeeshop leh
?? Service wise: All very busy?
? Price wise:Very worth it. $5 for this bowl!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Below average minced pork noodle, too oily and the noodle is a bit stiff and the ingredients are just average, The broth lacks flavor. Don't think I will come back. Would rather eat the ban mian in the same coffee shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This could be a case of expanding under a famous brand without maintaining a standard. For its premium bowl of $9, this is over priced. Its soup has a nice broth with 3 large dumplings. Other than that, noodle portion is extremely small and pathetic for $9; plus the base condiment lacks the fragrance of the vinegar and chilli. Also, wetness doesn't resemble its Hong Lim main stall. Quite disappointing. The queue has died down after the hype is over and until it is able to replicate anywhere near its flagship stall, will give it a miss considering the amount of good food available in Toa Payoh.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long Q. So package home to eat. Soupy type. Interesting to watch the chef cook the noodle. Generous serving of ingredients. Taste not bad. Can try again, but this time dry type noodle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After the disappointing attempts at their stalls in Chinatown and Bedok, I decided to give them a try again at their new Toa Payoh branch. This is so much better, so so much better. The soup is not tasteless and the noodles are actually good. It’s a bit oily finishing up the noodle though
