This stall sells tasty ba zhang. IMHO, definitely better then the one located at amoy st. Where i use to buy from that stall and did not gave a chance to try this one out. Until one day i realised my regular stall is giving me a half cook dumplings and my friend recommend me this stall. Now i only come to this one. Hope you can maintain the same standards forever.

Never like Chinese dumpling as my mom Chinese dumplings is the best. But this stall chinese dumpling taste the same. The belly pork dumpling is simply out of this world. Sensational.

Located on the 2nd level of Hong Lim Food Centre. The price of the dumplings is reasonable. The size of it, is also just nice to have it for tea break or even breakfast. Have quite a variety of different type of dumplings. The pork dumplings are always good. The queue always moves fast. The service is prompt and efficient. Buy and go. Less than 5 mins, you can buy the dumplings.

Generally, this is a well known hawker for bak chang (rice dumpling) and I have been patronizing the stall for close to two decades. The dumplings are nice as they are handmade in traditional way. They are not cheap by any standard and you can expect to fork out the equivalent price of a decent hawker meal for one dumpling. I didn't think my review is very important since they are well established but I do want to feedback on the cocky attitude of the aunty. Argumentative and rude. Not listening to customer orders and blame customers for not hearing properly. It would have been a 3 to 4 stars if not for this.

Rude auntie. Told me if the rice dumpling is 8:30am, only a little bit warm. I replied if there's any issue? And she misunderstood my question and keep blabbing away... speechless... The actual pork, mushroom, salted egg dumping is 4/10 at best. Meat is too lean without any fats, overly salty & not fresh. Not worth the calories for sure.

Chinese dumplings, cooked in wrapped bamboo leaves. A surprisingly treat, the rice is moist, soft not mushy. Fillings are generous but not overly. Order the Pork, Chestnut, Mushroom fillings for $3.70 and the Pork Belly version for $4.20, both are good, but my personal choice would the the Pork Belly. The chilli flakes are actually fried chilli dried shrimps which add to the adventure. The Dumplings are made and cooked on the 1st level, where there is a nice coffee store. Sold from a 2nd floor shop nearer to Chinatown Point. Donโ€™t missed this, traditional taste, good quality and generous fillings, it should be getting Michelin stars.

Crazy queue at this dumplings store during the dumplings festival. They only serve walk-in as I was informed. No reservations. They start selling at around 8am, queue starts as early as 630am. After I've tried their dumplings, it's one the best I've eaten (though I'm not much of a dumplings fan)
