I Can Read - 83 Punggol Central

My daughter has been in I Can Read @ punggol waterway point for almost 2 years, but I have hardly seen their progress. Now considering other courses/school , it is a waste of time and money. Sign!!!!!

Teachers (some of them) are lack of passion and professionalism, they are having food in the class while teaching. My daughter also complains the teacher always scold kids who are not follow teacher's instruction.

Hmm, came here to look for the phone number, shocked to see the reviews. Thankfully my experience was much better. 5 y.o developed her speech late, and we were worried that she would lack behind her peers when it comes to reading. Thank God, managed to read in 5 months under teacher Sangeetha. Thanks! =)

Customer reviews speak a lot about the business, whether its good or in this case you can see for yourself the sentiments from the past reviews. Questionable value, poor communication and not to mention professionalism in doing business. 3 months and still counting to get my deposit back. Ironically it is not thousands of dollars as deposit but just $150 which will be nothing for a business like theirs.

They make us pay school fees for the whole term which we have completed. However, they took our initial deposit because we never inform them 4 weeks in advance. Do you think it is fair? Also my child have some issue with the teacher and request to change class. However, they are not able to help me change to another class although my child cried every time when he goes to class. Overall experiences in very bad and I hope all parents will take note of this and dont make the same mistake as me.

My child had been with here since 2020, when I ask for withdrawal, they pass me a form to fill up and when pass over the form, really apply the No Question Ask policy, actually feeling quite upset …

Called to enquire on possible classes and was offered an opportunity for a trial. Staff gave a 20-30min timeframe, but did not specify exactly what time we should be present to start the trial session. Arrived within the timeframe at the door. But was welcomed by a terrible front desk personnel Ms J who glared through the front window (very obvious disatisfied look even with her mask over her face; the whole body language says it all). When we entered the glass door to ask if we could proceed the trial class, in her disgruntled tone, she kept citing that teachers are very busy, we were late, and did not answer the question. To note, we arrived within the given timeframe and technically weren't late at all since they did not state the exact arrival time, thay we should arrive how long beforehand, how long the trial class was and no reminder calls either. Thereafter every sentence that came out of her mouth were very discriminating. We should have read the online review before evening giving a call. All these online reviews are genuiene negative feedbacks that are very much overlooked. Always thought I Can Read was a centre that parents could entrust their young ones to learn not just literacy knowledge but also great interpersonal skills. Judging from just the customer service approach of this particular front desk staff, I urge parents to think through thoroughly if this kind of learning environment is really suitable for young children. Glad we made an immediate turn to the next learning centre, who were more customer centric and had more patient and encouraging staff and teachers.

Being sending my kid there for the last 3 years and I must say I saw the improvement in him. Staff there was friendly and helpful so far.. Recently serve by Miss Evelyn and i must thank her for her helpfulness and patient .
