Ordered the Dai Loke Mee and Ipoh Spicy Fried Meat. Both dishes were good. The noodles had wok hei. Dishes were served fast. Chilli not nice though.

This eating place is always packed during the weekends around makan time. Actually, I originally wanted to eat the popular chicken rice here but changed my mind when I saw Ipoh Tuck Kee Son Menu. Dishes ordered: Yu Kong Hor - looked like a wetter version of fried kway teow with a raw egg on top. Wat Tan Hor - looked like a soupier version of fried hor fun. I totally enjoyed the above two dishes, they had great Wok hei taste with portions of pork, intestines, etc. Simply delicious Next time, we will definitely be back to try their other dishes. 2 Thumbs ? ? up

Love the baby octopus. Crunchy and lightly soy flavored. But I ordered the Dai Loke mee wrongly. I wanted the beehoon or horfun. This dai loke type noodle is too mushy for me. Taste shiok though. Re-ordered again. The Wat Tan Hor and Bee Hoon were both top notch. Fried chicken wings we’re uniquely flavorful. Definitely had to repeat the crunchy baby octopus, and the beansprouts although pretty standard were crunchy and damn shiok too! Love this stall. Special mention goes to their tiny packet fiery belachan chilli. Nice punch. Just wow.

All dishes ordered were delicious. Good wok-hei from Braised Ee Mee ($5). The noodles had good bite. Each strand of Tai Loke Mee ($5) was evenly coated with the fragrant dark sauce, garlicky and not oily. Fried chicken wings ($4 for 4 pcs) were tender, fragrant with Chinese wine and hint of spices. A must order. Noodles serving size just right. Vegetables in the Tai Loke Mee were overdone.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely foodstall in Katong Shopping Centre if you happen to be in Katong area. The food quality is unmatched. For Malaysians that have not been back since the start of pandemic in Singapore Circuit Breaker, and also will not be going back for Chinese New Year celebration, here is the place you can go where you get to taste and eat what is real authentic great tasting Ipoh dishes. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best Malaysia Ipoh meal I have enjoyed in Singapore. Highly recommend! I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the dish in Ipoh Tuck Kee Son. I ordered the popular Wat Dan Hor (滑蛋河), Dai Loke Mee (大碌面) and Baby Octopus in Soy Sauce (清甜八爪鱼). Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a taste of their hometown food in Ipoh of Malaysia. One thing I must point out, do NOT be tricked or be decieved by another food stall with the name "Ipoh Tuck Kee" but using this food stall name "Ipoh Tuck Kee Son". There is so much difference in food quality between the both of them. This stall is still my preferred choice to go for when choosing authentic Ipoh food of Malaysia. The Wat Dan Hor (滑蛋河) is really a class of its own. Truly a reminder of my good time in Ipoh years ago when I first get to eat this Wat Dan Hor (滑蛋河). Next, I have to say, clearly my best or obvious all time favourites is the Dai Loke Mee (大碌面). I enjoyed every single bite of this mee. Even when I am writing now, my saliva is wetting. To sum up, all these dishes might have been the best meal I have ever been served. Service was delightful and very professional. Truly, this is really a stall opened for all Malaysians. This is a statement I would not made lightly. Go try it and you will know why I made the statement. 5 STARS RATING !!!

Yummy Ipoh noodles with a strong wok-hey taste and smell! Really liked the Baby Octopus in soy sauce. It was well marinated, soft and chewy and not at all salty. Tasted just right. The lime clams were another hit! They were slightly sour and spicy and very appetizing (开胃). The portions of the noodles were however quite small for the price. We ordered 3 small for 4 to share and it was hardly enough. Probably need to order 1 portion for each. We came at about 6.50, ordered and only collected at about 7.20pm. Quite popular during dinner so be sure to go earlier if you wanna dabao.

One of the best tze chars I've had. The steamed octopus and fried meat side dishes are must-orders! Silky, smooth hor fun infused with wok hey and a flavour-packed broth/sauce filled with ingredients. They add pig intestines and a generous amount of pork lard. I found the taste well balanced overall. The wok hey isn't overpowering and the sauce isn't too salty.
