I tried the Siphon soup noodle which is totally amazing. The soup is full of flavor and one of the best I had so far. Keep it up!

Imagine eating in Orchard Road, in a chic Japanese restaurant on a Friday night but paying a bill of $55.20 all inclusive!! Oh & did I say it’s for 2 pax! It’s Ippudo’s 36 anniversary & so they’re offering dining sets at $36/-. We both had the Garlic Ramen & omg, it was beyond good. The broth was silky & so “collagenly” with just the right amount of black garlic & all its umami goodness. I could see the 2 perfectly whole & in shape char siew & I just knew it was going to be a feast for the taste buds, & I wasn’t wrong. From the gyoza to the cucumber starter (not part of the set & at an additional cost ) to the chicken karage, everything tasted great & was served on time, by very pleasant servers. The whole experience was memorable. My husband wanted to try the lemon soda so the staff packed the canned drinks that was part of the dinner set for us. I’ve eaten at their other branch at Shaw Centre & wasn’t disappointed either. This wonderful restaurant is offering $36 for a couple ramen, couple sides & drinks until end October, as part of its 36 year anniversary. It’s my go to place to get exceptional ramen. Thanks so much Ippudo!

Tried their new style of "cooking" the ramen soup base (like making coffee) The siphon method is interesting and you can choose 4 different flavours. Quite expensive to try it and in the end, I still prefer the original pork soup base. Nice experience here everytime. Best ramen.

Located at the heart of Orchard, Ippudo Mandarin Gallery located on Level 4, It is poised to be an upscale and modern ramen brasserie experience where diners can enjoy many types of authentic Japanese dishes before tucking into a bowl of hearty ramen. It may be light on the palate, yet full of pork braised goodness. There are too many ramen soups out there that are just salty. I also liked that it has chopped kikurage (wood ear mushroom) and scallions that added bite to the soup. It has a stylish fusion décor with bowls and utensils of red, white, and black bringing out its signature colours.

It’s been a while. Quite long while actually. Still good, very good. Simple & no frills. They have added several items since my last visit many years ago.

Akamaru Tamago Shiromaru Tamago Sake Tasting Flight with: - Manazuru Junmai Daiginjo - Kubota Junmai Daiginjo - Hakkaisan Tokubetsu Junmai ⚠️Long post warning! ? Food wise: Firstly for the Shiromaru, really love the creaminess, it was thick, depthful and super tasty. One will need another bowl of soup here. When one thinks of ramen broth, this is the quality one should expect. Noodles, as requested on the menu, were medium, they came with a nice firm and Q texture, easy to slurp, so good! Meat wise, I had two types, pork belly chashu and chicken chashu. The pork chashu break pretty easily, it was soft and delicious. The chicken one was firm and tender, really good too! They have this promotion where one gets a free topping when joining their #ippudomandaringallery Telegram group, woah, worth it. Lastly, the egg, just look that the sun looking yolk! It was the nice, sticky and tasty one! One would suggest soaking some soup and eating it, so good! Akamaru's broth is different, it was thick, depthful and garlicky. It was very fragrant! For more taste of garlic, one can request garlic and their garlic press, fresh garlic just brings more fragrance and a bit of spice to it! ?Sake wise: The Manazuru was light, smooth and really refreshing, it was also sweet and rich in rice taste! Kubota one was smooth, stronger taste but equally sweet and rich! Hakkaisan, which was the strongest of them all brings a bit of heat, just that tad bit, to the throat, and sweet! It did taste pretty special, having a clean finish and hint of spring water. ✨ Ambience wise: Great for dates and gatherings, feels like being in a high SES restaurant! ?? Service wise: Great! The staff were prompt and friendly! ? Price wise: Very worth it! Akamaru Tamago $18.80 Shiromaru Tamago $17.80 Sake Tasting Flight $15

Located in Mandarin Gallery. A great place to enjoy a bowl of ramen with some alcoholic drinks. The place was well-decorated. It was a pleasant surprise to see many bowls glued to the wall- the bowls were in a dust-free condition. There were different type of beer, sake, cocktails to choose from, including wine. Another pleasant surprise to find some much alcoholic drink. Definitely a good place to chill out on a Friday night. There were so much choices for the toppings to go with your favourite ramen, of course, each toppings would cost extra. Thankfully, the prices were reasonable. Considering it was in the middle of Orchard Road- prime location. Definitely a great place to relax after a hard day of work! Strongly recommended.

An excellent place to visit if you are a Japanese food lover. At this outlet, they also offers a wide variety of Sake or alcohol beverages that suits to you preference. Have one a good session with close friend and colleague of more than a decade here. Strong recommend if you need a place for good food with nice environment to chill out and enjoy the evening.
