โ โ โ โ โ Came here with a compliant max group of 8 and was not disappointed. Style is a good change, in that you rent a private room, and order food / drink via the server who will come each time you press a remote button. Service was very attentive and quick, food has all the โfavouritesโ that you would expect at an izakaya, including Kara age, sashimi but also some special additions such as oysters.
Sashimi very fresh as was the oysters and the food quality overall was very good especially considering the price. Very surprised by how good the uni was. And to top it off was especially impressed that bill was less than 200 pp including a decent amount of sake and beers and enough food to be uncomfortably full afterwards.

Very good, pro tip if youโre drinking the menu is in Japanese but it says you can get a promo price for some of the main dishes, the tuna sashimi platter especially good value with an alcoholic order.

โ โ โ โ โ Very authentic Japanese private room dining experience. Only missing part is cigaratte smell, which is a plus for us! The food is generally better than average for izakayas. Seafood was exceptionally good for the money. Yes there is a cover charge of $7/person.. which would throw off a lot of people. But the overall bill is very reasonable for a Japanese restaurant.

โ โ โ โ โ This was my favourite lunch place for a period of time - private room, excellently-priced lunch sets, albeit I agree with the other reviews that it could be a bit warm.
Went again recently, and was delighted to see that they still offered the lunch set, although it's the festive period. I was disappointed though that the food quality is not maintained, and they removed the uni from the chirashi bowl, and also the slabs of fatty tuna (replaced by small cubes). Some pieces tasted a bit too fishy for my liking too.

Casual izakaya with plenty of privacy - all tables are private or semi private. Good fare, seasonal seafood. Good Japanese following - or so I guess from the conversations around us.

โ โ โ โ โ A bit disappointed with the appetiser that is $7 per pax. In total we paid $49++ for the appetiser which consist of 2 small chicken and some cabbage and green capsicum. I thought it is not very nice of the waitress when I gave the feedback that they should have told us that the appetiser on the table is actually $7 per pax. Instead of being apologetic that they will carefully take our feedback, the service staff told us that it is written in the menu (super fine print attached). I think it is a pity considering the restaurant space is nice and comfortable.

โ โ โ โ โ My first visit upon recommendation by a japanese friend. This is a hidden gem indeed! We were given a private room and the atmosphere made me feels like hving good old times in japan...dining out at izakaya joints without the noise and smoke.
Service is prompt and polite and the waitress gave very good recommendations.
The food is super amazing! Sashimi tasted like just fresh from the seas! Super great value for money dinning experience indeed.
We had fried chicken, grilled oysters, karubi beef steak, grilled cod fish, Ebi Sashimi, grilled abalone, beef fried rice. The sashimi, chicken, beef, cod fish and fried rice were standouts for me and I will be back with friends when we can get > 2 pax diners to lend some support.

โ โ โ โ โ The price is considered high because of the $7 starter. It was prepared before sitting so it was dry and warm. Staff service also average. Food quality is okay but can find better one with same payment.

If I each diner orders alcohol such as sour or beer can get discount for selected dishes.
The raw oysters was fresh and plump , served very chilled with ponzu sauce.
For sashimi we got the tuna and salmon platter which was chunky cut and you taste the freshness and sweetness of the fish .
Ordered the Uni bowl with ikura , came with generous amount of ikura and Uni but found Uni to be average
