β β β β β Extremely underwhelming and terribly swayed by the good reviews on Google.
We got the most expensive dinner set for 180. It consisted of 6 seafood and 5 vegetables, one soup One appetiser and one type of rice.
The meal was 217 after GST.
The 5 vegetables were one single asparagus, one single mushroom, one slice of lotus root, one slice of pumpkin and one slice of aubergine. The seafood were two prawns, two small white bait in shisho leaf, one unagi, uni wrapped in seaweed. It came omakase style. And it was honestly just the ingredients fried in tempura batter.
Nothing worth above 10 dollars apart from the uni.
It is WILD to think a 217 dollar meal is literally a mixed tempura Don but they serve you items individually.
Extremely underwhelming and disappointing for the price. The only good thing was the special tuna don.

β β β β β 1) The cheapest proper tendon set is 70 dollars++ ???which comes with soup and salad.
2) not a big portion but it tastes fantastic! Especially the fried prawn is well marinated. Overall not oily at all.
3) please call for reservation.
4) lotsa people ordered sashimi unfortunately I canβt eat raw uncooked food.

β β β β β Food is ordinary, not too bad. Lightly seasoned and everything was decent. However, I think the price point was a bit high and was not reflective for the quantity and quality of the food. Sashimi was not fresh, so just focus on their tempura dishes I would say. Relatively good service, but nothing special.

β β β β β Quick tempura lunch fix at the restaurant. We ordered the Tenshin Lunch set - Mixed tempura (5-6 pieces mix of prawn/vegetables) , Salad, Mini Tendon, Miso-soup, Pickles & Dessert. Tempura was nicely battered and fried to perfection, light and crispy, definitely did not have the gross oil taste that you get at some tempura restaurants who reuses the frying oil for a couple of days.
Whilst the entire meal was good, it definitely did not blow my mind. Prawns were a lilβ tough from the frying, vegetables didnβt stand out either - it just felt like normal fried vegetables, wasnβt exceptionally sweet or anything. The mini tendon was the star of the show, perfectly fried prawn cake with sauce over rice, absolutely delicious. Lotus root salad was yummy too.
Ambience was nice, has a peaceful quiet Japanese omakase restaurant feel. Service is good.

β β β β β We enjoyed the tempura omakase, especially the seafood selection. The tempura batter was light and crispy - which makes it very different from the usual tempura you will find in regular tempura places.
We ordered the Hana set priced at $130++. Not much description on the ingredients but the different types of fishes served were delicious.

β β β β β Delicious, fresh tempura delivered right to your plate. We sat at the counter and it was a lovely experience, getting a good view of our tempura being fried on the spot. The tendon was light and well seasoned, and the fish was super fresh, flakey and sweet.

β β β β β Price aside (cos u have already decided on eating fresh produce flown in from Japan), I enjoyed every course on the Omakase menu! We added the uni pouch which kinda bumped the price up - βskippableβ cos the fried seaweed over-dominated the uni for me. Bamboo shoot is in season too!

β β β β β Nice small restaurant was recommended by my friend to try their tempura. Came with my girls for sat lunch. The tempura batter is very thin and crisp, pretty well done. The set is generous. We didnβt like the red miso soup as the taste is too strong and the salad sauce is overpowering. Overall good experience. Nice and cosy environment but rather small so better make reservations in advance.
