β β β β β A little shop run by a humble couple that used to sell these snacks at Pasar malam! The takoyaki was freshly made and the sauces were generously given. It is so yummy! :)
Perfect for a snack! ?

β β β β β Great homemade taste ! Really brings back the memories... A convenient takeaway outlet. Good for a small snack after a nearby meal. Will definitely come back to support !

β β β β β Ordered mix tako yaki (2 chicken ham, 1 octopus & 1 prawn) but none of them were chicken ham. The packet labelled βChickenβ were all prawn tako yaki! You are a food business, this is something that you should be most mindful of, what will happen if your customer who accidentally ate it was allergic to prawn??? Ridiculous

β β β β β Used to frequent Jayz often when they had stalls at pasar malams, and was excited to learn that they had a permanent stall.
The past two visits however was less than pleasant. Stallowners were snippy and rude when taking orders.
On one occasion, we went back in to check on our order as we had not heard any indication of it being ready - to our surprise, the auntie told us off for not coming in sooner. When we explained politely that we had not heard any indication, she doubled down that it was not her fault.
Keep in mind that we did not approach her to ask how long our order would take, complain about waiting time, etc. These remarks were unprompted and left us quite surprised, honestly.
Though the takoyaki is nice here, their customer service discourages patrons from coming back

β β β β β Below average unauthentic snacks made by common folks. Not tasty and less value for money.

β β β β β Uncle's body language and tone tells all in customer service when ordering, maybe biz is hard these days. Tried plain waffle, tasting traditional but
not crispy, typical pasar malam standard. Chinese ham/egg pancake is above average, though oily. For the price u pay, I guess it is reasonable and could not ask 4 much.

β β β β β Surprised to find a shop at Jalan Tampang selling traditional "TuTu Kueh". Nowadays it is not easy to find nice handmade TuTu Kueh. Enjoyed all the favours, from peanut, coconut, chocolate. Sometimes you don't need to have a lot of favours, to me this is good enough. I tried Thai Green Tea, I really love drinking it as I have never tried it before. My daughter loves the Sausage Egg Roll (normal flavour), she said yummy yummy. A humble nice couple running the business. Kindly be patient and understanding if they are busy as they have online platform orders from Grab, Food Panda and Deliveroo? The price is reasonable, I will be back for their snack. Trying out their takoyaki too ?? ?. It is not easy to do business nowadays ever since the pandemic. Come down and support them.

β β β β β Sorry but no.
Wanted a crispy waffle, was told their recipe can't make crispy. Fair enough. Well, I definitely got a little crispy lump of flour ? (there was more, threw both waffle away)
Based on my observation of how the uncle spoke, I don't think the owners/staff are happy running the biz.
I try not to give negative reviews on Google but I think it's a good platform for owners to understand where to improve on and such.
