I had to visit a nearby clinic called YSL Medical in Bedok. (The doctor's consultation felt dismissive, and the medication given was insufficient, and my condition even worsened.) I immediately sought Dr Penny Lo from Joy Family Clinic the following day (Monday). Was prescribed the additional much-needed medications and I have since recovered fully. Very grateful to her as well as all the kind receptionists.

Each time she's quite thorough with her questions, takes the time to try and understand exactly what it is that's plaguing you and doesn't jump to conclusions or sweep your issues aside. Had to get swabbed, but Dr Penny kept apologizing throughout, explained why it had to feel this way and prepared a box of tissues. I felt well taken care of physically and mentally. Counter staff are friendly as well, but that behavior may be occluded sometimes simply due to the sheer number of demanding patients they see. Be kind to them, you'll get kindness back!

Thanks Dr Lo for her empathy and clear communication of her assessment and diagnosis :) Clinic may like to consider placing a queue tapping on the floor outside the clinic entrance in providing clear instructions to patients and avoid disputes among patients.

Those afraid of needles, she is the best doctor to look for. I told her I’m nervous (afraid of needles), she comfort and talk to me to ensure everything is good before we proceed with jab.

It had become just a vaccination clinic, pulling people through with jab and swab appointments, but letting the sick patients who need to consult the doctor wait for 1h+ without any time indication. If you are looking to consult, be prepped to wait without a time indication. Probably better chances getting medication and not needing to hover around at the other clinics.
