Doctors are still ok. But the receptionists attitude makes me speechless. Understand that its peak period but being a receptionist, one should have good customer service. They are just there to vent their anger or constantly having PMS. We are not there to get free medicine ,we paid for the service.

Doctor I see today is very patient in handling my nervous son for his ART test and explaining to me on the medications.

In queue no 2 waiting outside clinic since 08:20am. Just want to do swab test. Went in I become no 4 in queue. And HV to wait for doc to come in and test, doc only come in at 09:30am. My turn would probably be at 10am. The clinic is so slow and all have to wait for doctor. Nurse not allow to do swab. In the end I go back to the usual clinic which I usually go to in tampines. And swab done in just 5mins, and I am back home before 10am

The amount of negative review here amazes me. I have been going to this clinic for the past 20 years. Both Dr How and Dr Kieron have seen me since I was in primary school so they know me well. They are good doctors. I have also never been treated badly by any of their receptionists. The only complaint I have is that this clinic never accepts any form of payment besides cash.

My partner and I were tested COVID-19 positive on 7 January 2022. We were referred by a doctor on White Coat to visit a SASH (Swab and Send Home) clinic for our healthcare administered ART, as directed by MOH. We called the clinic to ask if we can walk-in or make an appointment for the ART test since Shenton Family Medical Clinic is registered as a SASH clinic with MOH. However, the receptionist refused to let us register for a swab test and insisted that self-administered ART swab is sufficient. We explained that it is insufficient and even referred her to the latest MOH guidelines but was rudely turned away by them. We got the impression that the clinic did not want us to visit at all because we were tested positive! This says a lot about the clinic's business ethics and principles!

Worst clinic to ever go to. Went here after testing positive for covid to get a supervised test and record my illness for official purposes. The staff is disorganised. There is no queue system to send patients in and the total wait inspite of being miserable with fever was more than 1.5 hours. Please go else where and save your time.

Paid $55 lol as they didn’t allow me to use Chas card. I went there near closing hours on 26 Jan as I had allergy all over my body. They didn’t allow me to use CHAS card for my payment because it was too late and said I was supposed to show my CHAS card when filling up the forms. MOST IMPORTANTLY, they DID NOT EVEN INFORM ME. I didnt know as it was my first time there so I thought I only have to show my CHAS card together with payment. This is what I’ve always do in other clinics too. Two of the receptionist were plain rude lol. When I’m only asking a question politely whether this clinic is 24 hour, one of the rude receptionists was like then u should go to a clinic that is 24 hour ???? LIKE WTHECK IM JUST ASKING POLITELY PLS. However, the Chinese aunty who is also one of the receptionists was quite nice compared to the other two. The relief doctor was nice and polite too.

I’ve never had issues with the doctors here just the front desk staff. Rude, extremely dis organised and careless when it comes to forms and lab reports. Seems like a lot has changed over time in this place. I visited the doc twice here since March 2022. Seems like newer people dealing with patients . The staff are warm and nothing like it used to be before. I recommend this clinic after noticing the difference and in my personal experience.
