Ordered roasted duck rice and soya sauce chicken rice, meats are tender and fresh, if it could be made hot and came with plum sauce for roasted duck will be much perfect, overall was good though.

Bought takeaway yesterday at their ION Orchard outlet - a whole Roast Duck ($58), and a regular portion of BBQ Pork ($10.8). I would say it’s not worth the money at all with it’s poor quality of products, even those from Hawker Centres are better than from here! The Roast Duck was almost tasteless and without the meat tenderness and favour. The BBQ Pork meat taste badly, a bit dry and hard in texture, not mentioning the pale colouring which is not the genuine HK-style BBQ Pork (Char Siu). I won’t recommend anyone to try out, and whereas their management should spend their attention in what they are providing to their customers.

I would say based on the Michelin star I was expecting a little more oomph. However, overall I would say for the value it’s quite alright. Quick and simple lunch. You won’t be much disappointed by its flavour and ingredients, except for the soup, which is pretty much lightly flavoured but with strong pepper taste. I had the standard chicken noodle and my family also ordered the drum duck noodle and standard char siew rice. Pros My chicken noodle was soft and didn’t have much fats under the skin or attached to the meat ? . The gravy supplied was sufficient. Chilli was tasty and enhanced the flavours. Garnishing of spring onion and ginger was quite fresh and rather key in adding to overall flavour. Serving of chicken meat (as shown in pics) was rather okay maybe a little thicker cut than the usual coffeeshop to provide you the value. The char siew tasted okay and isn’t very remarkable for my daughter and mum. Enough to satiate the palette but didn’t seem to be able to wow them much. Quite a lot of char siew I thought. Some parts of the rice looked a little dry and sparse on the gravy though. Had to add in the soup to help with flavour. Overall good value. There was a lot of rice for the char siew. Cons The soup was pretty much tasteless and there was a strong peppery flavour. Maybe to save on the stock. For some reason I had three noodle and two rice but only received three soup. Rice no soup? Lol My dad didn’t like the duck as much as London fat duck calling the meat a little rough unlike the LFD which is more refined. Maybe he’s just spoilt. Lol

Quick lunch for $11.80. Char siew too lean although marinate is good. Chicken kinda of dry but their delicious ginger spring onion makes up for it. Their signature roast duck is a real surprise. Duck breast moist, amazing flavoured without being gamey. Chilli sauce way too tart.

Below average. I had high expectations given the Michelin Star they recieved but there are far better roast meat places in Singapore. It also makes me question the Michelin Guide

The roast duck is on an acceptable note. However the noodles are not cooked and tasted powdery.. I hope relevant authority can look into this so as Kam”s reputation can be saved.. And I’m not the first commenting on their staple.. I’m definitely not visiting this stall anymore as it’s wasting my calories.. IMHO the standard can only fit in a coffee shop filled with drinkers who have heavy taste after drinking.

Ordered their roast chicken with roast pork with rice, roast Duck noodle to try. Wow.. I am impressed with their roast duck because skin was crispy without the fatty layer underneath and the meat was flavorful, the noodle is soft with good bite to it and not overly boil and soggy. Their roast pork is has crispy skin and slight salty on the meat with the fat cooked well. Chicken was a bit of let down as the meat lack flavor and does not go well with plain white rice, the gravy is also not thick just feel a bland. Surely will come back for their roast pork and duck with noodle next time

This was the first time we had tried this eatery. The portions were small and the food wasn’t the best. Cleanliness certainly wasn’t the priority here either. The staff weren’t as helpful or friendly as other places we had visited. We had ordered the same as we had at other establishments in the area. However this establishment fell short of everything comparable from other places we had eaten in ‘hawker style centres’. From service to quality of food. It was all a bit disappointing to be honest. We were looking forward to trying it out, but were soon disappointed. We wouldn’t return after trying it. The portions were more like a child portion size rather than adults and this also compared to other eateries in other hawker food style outlets. The staff seemed to outnumber the demand for the eatery. While our food was being put out we were put off by a member of staff handling our food with a gloved hand (although he had two gloves on the one hand they didn’t seem to be clean. God knows how many times he was handling food with the same gloved hand. The rice which he had handled didn’t get eaten as we didn’t feel comfortable with his handling of the food and we didn’t want any cross contamination making one of our party ill. The plate was dirty and the general cleanliness of the establishment wasn’t appealing. The food that we ordered wasn’t as nice as we had had before at a different establishment selling the same meals. We wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone else.
