(Extremely hard selling and advertisement not true to its services rendered. Will never go back there again!) Booked an appointment for Deluxe Eyebrow embroidery $188 nett promo. The first half an hour (almost) was spent on hard selling by Shui Jing. "Brow specialist" kept asking me to purchase the $300++ (can't remember the actual price) Misty Brow embroidery, and to top up another $600++ for "baby hair" brow microblading. Kept saying that the usual price is $2000++ (what eyebrow embroidery costs $2000?!) - note that I already have my base brow done elsewhere previously, and just wanted the Deluxe Embroidery to touch up. Told her that my husband's budget for me is $188 (tried to say that in hope she'd stop bugging me) - but she continued. Kept asking me to send photos to my husband to show him the difference in brows, etc. (really?!) I kept saying anything above $188 is out of my budget. "Ni ke yi de..." (You can one. This promo really good. Original price is $2000.) I can totally imagine how people who get swayed easily succumb to her hard selling. Unethical. Or rather, I wonder how many people have already succumbed to that. In the end, I went for the $68 Classic Embroidery, because honestly the rest are too unrealistically expensive. Do note that the Classic Embroidery is part of their brow menu. But Shui Jing kept dissuading me and saying that this is not nice. (Then why is it in the menu?!) Her reply was, and I quote "This type of brows only suitable for office lady and Indians. If you want those caterpillar, super dark full make up look then you go for this". She then proceeded to use the crayon to fill my brow to "show me" how the Classic Eyebrow will look like. So I pretended to ask if this is how the end look will be after healing. She then replied "Yes, jiu shi zhe yang. Then next time right, the more you touch up the darker it will be". I double confirmed again, "so it will look this dark?" Response was "Yes". LOL COME ON, look at the photo attached. This is not my first time getting my brows done. Really?! She's literally making these up just for sales. If it just keeps getting darker, then why do people go for touch ups? Lol, what a joke. The management should really review their brow consultants' selling tactics. Please send mystery shoppers to truly know how the contents of the messages by the brow consultants. So back to my initial plan of wanting to get the $188 Deluxe promo. BUT! I then realized that technique is a scam - this technique only has 16 strokes across the entire brow. So I said this looks different from the photos on Instagram. Shui Jing replied - "Oh, this is for people with eyebrows." (What?!) Honestly if people have eyebrows thick enough, they won't be requiring eyebrow embroidery. If they require eyebrow embroidery, these 16 strokes can't fill ANYTHING. (I should have taken a photo of the trial look they did on my to show me the difference between the Deluxe embroidery I wanted versus the SUPER expensive $600?! brows that they want me to sign on. This "Deluxe Embroidery" is an absolute joke. (Marketing team, please review your ad versus the actual service rendered) The trial look did on me was NOWHERE near the before and after photos advertised. And really, usual price of $1785 for 16 strokes per brow?! That's unrealistic. Anyway! During the later half of my session, Shui Jing kept coming in and out of the room (for I don't know what?). 5 mins towards the end, she came into the room and was literally standing behind Evonne (whom is great by the way! Sincere and professional.) just staring at me holding her phone wanting to take a picture of my brows. It was as though she was rushing Evonne to get it done ASAP. Thank God Evonne didn't rush through my embroidery. At the end, I wasn't given the after care cream (which was supposed to be included), and told me that my next touch up will be $10 "for the blade" (supposed to be included complimentary also, in this promo). I couldn't even be bothered to ask for the cream, and will not even bother going back for a touch up.

Extremely poor customer service. Sign up a eyebrow embroidery package at clementi outlet with 1 year unlimited free touch up, but is never easy to book a touch up slot. When finally got a slot, received a call 2 days before and rearrange me to their CCK outlet, quoted that the room is not available. I insisted for clementi outlet and wanted them to give me the replacement session before CNY, the customer service say will check and call back. Waited for 5 days and didn't receive any call. Called them again, they took down my number and rush to hang up my call. This is definitely not the kind of service I would expect for a package of more than 2K. If the outlet is forever fully book to receive touch up appointment, it should be made known to the consumer, and not to mislead the consumer into signing up the package without unknowing the difficulty in getting a session!

Excellent and friendly service by Yvonne and Suki. They are very patient, knowledgeable and detailed in explaining the the different brow styles and the whole process. Yvonne is very meticulous in doing the brow shaping and made sure my mom likes the design before proceeding. She also frequently made sure my mom is not feeling the pain as she does the embroidery. No pressure and really enjoyed the whole procedure!

As a first time customer, I'm extremely pleased with Evone's warm and professional service rendered. She's very knowledgeable in her microblading techniques as seen in the attached photos. Highly recommended and will for sure come round again. Thanks Evone!

The eyeliner artist who did the service for me is professional and a very nice lady. However the customer service and admin is really unprofessional and insincere. I would advise that there are many other smaller establishments that provides excellent service and are equally skilled. There are really so many options, please take your money elsewhere. A detailed account of what happened: Without any prior arrangement, call, or explanation, my appointment was changed to a different branch. An SMS was sent to request confirmation of the appointment. To which i replied to say the venue was wrong. No one bothered to reply the entire day and I had to call them in the evening. Only then, I was informed that the staff is on MC. I would have been very understanding if this was explained earlier because the artist who does the service is such a nice lady. But the customer service on the phone just brushes the issue off and expect me to accept the change of venue even after I have explained it is inconvenient. I have also informed that due to work I will NOT be able to make it on weekdays. She next proceeded to suggest i make another appointment at the other branch on weekdays. I have requested for a refund of the value of the service as they were not able to reschedule an appointment before CNY (original appointment was scheduled more than a month ago). The admin informed me said she would get back to me. But it was no surprise she did not. The next day, i had to send another message to mention that no one returned call. And a different person called me, with a different story saying my appointment was changed to a different venue because the original branch i made appointment at in under renovation. I find that highly questionable because renovations do not just get decided overnight. And i was only informed the day before my appointment. The whole experience is just frustrating and unnecessary. I would just like a refund and would not want to have anything to do with this place.

Hard sell. Scam. I didn’t even finish my package. went back only twice and always after the session, they never bothered to follow up by arranging next appointment. Previous sessions were also initiated by myself asking when can I next come back. First time I went for eyebrow embroidery and got persuaded to sign for facial package. Hard sell when they are done with one eyebrow. Stop and didn’t complete the other brow. Is this attitude assuring to customers? Not much extractions but also not sure what they are doing to remove my comedones. Used a filing machine for the surface to pick out comedones. Not sure if this is good for the skin by filing the surface. Haven’t went back for long since covid and no calls from them. Saw that they opened a new outlet in Clementi Mall.

Really disappointed with the lash lift FB promo I went for, my eyelashes were so haphazardly lifted to the point where they look and feel FRIED. The curl was only noticeable right after the treatment. As soon as I washed my face later that day, my lashes started to flatten out into the crumpled mess in the photo. It wasn't my first time getting my lashes lifted so I know what to expect, but I definitely wasn't prepared to go through such a negative experience at La Vida. My therapist was quite rough when handling my lashes and there was a point where she was removing the tape from under my eyelid and it felt like my skin was going to get ripped out, I wish I was kidding. While she was nice, it felt like she was in a hurry to get the treatment done which was like nothing I had ever experienced at other studios where they take great pains to be gentle around the eye area. If you'd like to get your lashes lifted, there are better studios to spend your money at. Don't be swayed by the promotional price, you're not even getting your money's worth.

Mayble was very friendly and gentle, no pain during the embroidery :) Got the $60 voucher on Fave, pretty worth it. Includes one free touch up but then they say that ill have to pay $10 for the needle for the touch up session. They did have a bit of hard selling to get me to do the most expensive one ($2k+) ?, even after i said no they tried to give me student price $888, i said no again then tried to give me the $388 one lol.
