Went there today with my friend, had sesame oil chkn, kangkong and the no hion. Sesame oil chkn hit my cravings, was very tasty and meat was not hard. Kangkong was nice and nohion was crispy (tho skin was a bit hard to tear into smaller pieces). Overall would go again with my friend! Just be sure to expect warm humidity weather

Serangoon central claypot Kopitiam. It’s target segment is neighbourhood audience, hence very popular at times. Claypot dish at fair price keep the regulars return.

The food is okay. We called 6 dishes. While we were STILL EATING, a big group came and they needed seats. The staff then kept asking,"你门好了没有?" although my friend pointed out to her that we had not yet finished the food, much less the drinks. To be fair, we had been eating for a duration of an hour plus. However, I think it is justified given the amount of food we ordered. I am guessing that because we happened to sit beside the space where she wanted to sit the big group, she wanted to have our table to accommodate them. I understand her job is not easy and she cannot keep customers waiting for too long for a seat. She has to manage the crowd at dinner time, which is stressful! I hope that the management finds a better way to resolve this issue. They could set clearer guidelines for customers' dining duration to better support its staff in crowd management. Alternatively, they could split up the big group into different tables. The food is affordable and it is a good place to eat. Friendly and polite service would make it even better!

Be sure to order their chicken mix and seafood. Super flavourful and tender chicken. Gravy is really really thick and good. Best go with a bowl of a white rice.

Tried the claypot sesame chicken, ngoh Hiang and steamed egg… ordered the spicy chicken for the claypot chicken and it was really delish!! I think the ngoh Hiang could be more flavourful because it was abit bland… have concerns with the kitchen so near the toilet that looks abit run down and dirty. Good portion size though and cheap!

My first time visiting this place. We went there at around 1.30pm on a Sunday and we were very lucky to find a seat almost immediately. The wait was about 20 plus mins. In summary the kangkong was very good. As was the sliced fish soup. The herbal broth was delicious. The sesame chicken (house speciality) was very disappointing, didn't find it tender at all. The liver and kidney dish wasn't much better, it was tough and the dominant flavour you get is spice. That being said, the price point is fantastic. Pity 2 of the dishes were over cooked.

Claypot dishes that are nice at affordable price. Very popular amongst youngsters. The serving portion was quite generous. The picture of chap chai (mixed vegetables) says it all. For every order of claypot dish, you will be given one stamp. Once you have collected 9 stamps, you will be given a sesame chicken. Remember that no stamp will be given for non claypot items.
