★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad, pretty costly for porridge. Interestingly, they do not have squid, salted egg meat cake, etc.. so that’s pretty disappointing. Overall I would not come again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an enjoyable Teochew porridge dinner at this porridge specialist 2 weeks ago.
Love all the dishes, especially the cai buay, minced meat and fried shrimp sambal. So perfect to go with warm porridge.
We loved the cai buay so much that we had 2nd serving!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Porridge at an OK price, thought the fried pork skin was kind of bad. The salted egg was normal (can't really screw this up, right), salted cabbage was salty enough, pork belly / meat was good. The only gripe was the fried pork skin, don't buy that and you're good.
Price wasn't too expensive, under $20 for two pax, IIRC. Food came quickly, but the place was empty also as we came right after the third lockdown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a 24hr Teochew Porridge place that served the MOST variety of hot dishes. Use to be my supper place after party before going home. The small dishes are still yummy and reasonable price, if you go for the duck and fish, it can be expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice lunch on rainy day... we had steam fish $8 - very fresh, black vinegar pork $5 - good punch, brinjal ? - flavourful, leek, omelette with cai poh (preserved radish), anchovies with peanuts - $30+ for 4 pax, additional porridge is 80cents.

All the braised meats are cooked to perfection... Buttery and melts in your mouth...
The most important dish, the salted vegetables are well cooked and tasty..
Prices based on your choice of dishes though...
