Lola's - 48 Lor Mambong

Excellent service. They are very attentive and a staff even came over to check if we wanted the air conditioner adjusted. Food was great although the shakshouka is quite spicy. Worth a try if you can take the heat but not recommended for those with low spice tolerance. Eggs would be better if cooked longer and sauce thicker. But it tastes good. Sourdough was nicely buttered and toasted. My dining partner commented that it’s the best bread he has eaten. The pulled pork egg benedict was good. Poached eggs were runny and perfect. Hollandaise sauce had a hint of soya sauce. Hope to try their more unique mains the next time I pop by. Their dinner menu seems appetising. My favourite was the paprika honey wings. Simple yet hearty. The chicken was well crusted, crispy yet moist and juicy. I would eat this as a meal all by myself if I could. A bit pricey (as expected of cafe food) but rather huge portions! Great place to chill and lovely decor as well.
