★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried their signature pork chop and curry - take away for dinner. The kids loved it. Will try the katsudon with egg on next visit. This part of Havelock / Beo crescent has many new Food places too. Definitely will come back to explore in future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended by a Japanese to this coffeeshop tonkatsu stall and was nicely surprised at the quality. Both pork tonkatsu & fillet katsu are crisp & juicy meats at $11.80 & $12.80. It’s restaurant quality at affordable prices. Accompanying cabbage is also fresh with refreshing dressing. If only quality of rice is japonica would be perfection. Still a great find & will be back for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came to the coffeeshop at 12noon and there a lot of seatings available. No queue for the store as well. Bought the black pig katsu curry and the black pig katsu set. Their food is definitely restaurant quality and at a much affordable price than many restaurants. This will hands down be the number one store in the future if I am craving a tonkatsu or katsu curry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not expecting to get this restaurant quality of Japanese tonkatsu at the fraction of the price.
It’s just located at a coffee shop, but it does not really matter.
We were getting Kurobuta Katsu Curry Rice and Tonkatsu Donburi, both were tasted great, flavourful and the fried katsu were not oily.

Definitely one of the tastiest Tonkatsu Don in Singapore!
Pork cutlet was freshly fried upon order so it was moist and wasn’t those thin pieces type.
Highly recommend everyone to try it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really solid katsu for a coffee shop, super crunchy on the outside wrapping juicy, tender pork. I think this set was $11.90 and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Despite the rapid expansion of Maruhachi (from their Edgefield beginnings), quality is definitely kept in check as I can tell from this stall. Service from the staff I don’t really mind or expect from (they are fine), but taste definitely hits the spot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been here for more five times since last year. Today ordered the black pig katsu curry (supposedly better). But was very disappointed, it is dry with no fat. Asked the staff, she said the meat comes in a whole batch, cannot choose the quality and is still same distributor. But to me, the quality is lousy. Not worth the $13.80 I paid. I should go to restaurant, at least I can choose premium high quality pork. I am willing to pay more for quality. The staff also always changes. Even though we are regulars, they still treat us as new customers. Will not be coming back in awhile.
