Monster Planet - Jem

Been coming back here not only because of the delicious food but also because of the very friendly staff. Place is clean. Craved for their honey toast but wasn't available on the menu, however staff Celest was kind enough to let us have it. We understood their busy situation but they just wanted us to have an enjoyable meal. Appreciate their kind understanding and work definitely come again. Thank you so much.

The food was extremely delicious and well cooked. Service by Wei Jun was professional and accommodative. Compliments to the chef and service crew at the Jem outlet.

Had the Monster Combo Curry. Chicken Katsu, is topped with generous portion of cheese, but unfortunately the cheese cooled down before i started digging into it, and the curry wasn't piping hot enough to melt it for that cheesy stretch i was looking forward to. A cheese fan, the cheese taste definitely wasnt strong enough despite the portion. Chicken Katsu, is a tad dry. Not very well marinated as well. Didnt enjoy it as much as i thought i would. Fried Fish, is on the other hand, really good! Meat is firm on bite, indicative of its freshness, and moist. Fish fillet is also fried to perfect crunch on the outside. Really like it. Beef Shabu-Shabu, good proportion of fats and lean meat but taste almost bland if not for the curry. Shrimp Tempura, not as crunchy as i thought the tempura batter would be fried to. Shrimp meat is a bit tough, doesn't have the sweetness i expect of a shrimp. Curry itself is not bad, mediocrely good of a Japanese curry. Not outstanding but enjoyable. Portion of the curry can be alittle bit more, hence i ordered an extra serving of curry. Went for level 3 spiciness (hence the 3 hearts on the curry, that is the chilli sauce), not bad, got slight spicy kick. But i think i can go for level 4 next time (i enjoy spicy food but cannot take very spicy stuff). Overall, mediocre food though the fish fillet is really good. Went on a Thurs evening, around 8pm. Have to wait for around 30mins.

It had been a while since I had a craving for a big curry, so I went to Monster Planet and had the Fried Salmon Omelet Curry. The four large salmon fries were delicious, just like the salmon in the Hokkaido Salmon Burger. It was S$23.30 including iced lemon tea.

Huge portion, tasted great! Food was served in 10min. The only down side was that the ramen was a little undercooked, it came in a lump and the soup wasn’t hot enough to “cook” the noodles further. Other than the tough noodle, the chicken was super crispy and it didn’t taste oily which was great! ??

restaurant serves japanese style curry dishes which are halal by the way.menu ranges from typical japanese western curry dishes paired with rice and anything breaded and deep fried to curry ramen.For dessert they serve parfaits.service is fast and the staff are polite.however be prepared to wait abt 20 minutes for seats during peak hour period. we ordered the ebi meal and food was fantastic since u cannot go wrong with curry . The omellete is soft and runny ,just the way I like it.for added kick,add the chilli into the curry if u find the taste too bland when fared against our local curry taste.

Bought the curry combo for 2 pax but actually shared it amongst 3 people and it was actually sufficient to make us full. Ordered the tako balls on the side. LOVED IT! Really loved how there were many flakes added on the top and how the amount of roasted sesame sauce was added to the cabbage to overcome the rich flavour of the curry! Staff were very friendly and kind too as they offered to take a picture of my friends and I when they saw that we were trying to include the picture of our dishes along with our faces. Price can be a little pricey but it was VERY worth it, especially when sharing with others. Overall, would recommend others to come here and try japanese food! Thank you for the great food!

Food was served quick even when we came in about an hour to closing time. There were still people in the restaurant and the servers were very friendly and accommodating! We ordered one of the monster sized curry to share with 3 people and we were stuffed but so satisfied. We got iced lemon tea and the churros mango parfait which was so good! Other than that, we got two other mains to go. Would definitely come again, thank you so much
