Clinic close at 1700hrs but refused patient at 1530hrs. If in this case might as well state what time they refused patient.

Actual closing time vs the one shown online and even outside the clinic itself is completely inaccurate. It says close at 9pm but they refused patients from 8pm. On another occasion, i had covid symptoms and was feeling terrible, and was told to STAND and wait outside, ended up waiting for 30mins while standing, in the midst of all the pain and discomfort. I understand that clinics ask patients with covid symptoms to stay outdoors to reduce the risk of infection, but at least provide a chair for sick people to sit and wait? Lastly, i once had a sore throat that lasted for quite a few days, when i came here i told the doctor about my symptoms and showed him the meds i took which were effective but running out. Along with his 'i cant be bothered attitude' I was told "this is just a painkiller, shdnt eat too much". I ended up getting prescribed the SAME MEDS which was now for "throat inflammation". The only reason why i would come here in the past was because it was generally cheaper than other clinic, but now that its $10 for covid symptoms everywhere, i suggest everyone considering this place to just find another nearby clinic.

Complaint against Hougang central Family Clinic Hello Sir/Mdm. I was denied to see a doctor on 3/6/22 by a staff at My Family Clinic (Hougang Central),around 8.35pm. Reason that it was closed, but it stated that the clinic operates from 8am - 9pm and there were no “Closed” sign hung on the glass door.It seems very much still open. The staff gave reasons that was the doctor’s instructions. I had Nausea and vomited a couple of times,so left work to see a doctor. So,I asked to speak to the doctor instead and she started talking in Chinese language to her colleague, and I told her it was rude of her to do that instead of answering me,I even asked her to be compassionate, but was denied.(very sad isn’t it). Finally,I think e doctor was informed and agreed to see me. My reasons to lodged a complaint is to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone in future, especially to those who really need general practitioners attention instead of being “Shoo” away, even when it wasn’t closing time at all. Tq and I hope MOH will take necessary action . Have a good day and thanks again. All because of a very heartless staff, hope e clinic will take appropriate actions on that staff working on that particular day!!!

loooong waiting hours aside (7ppl ~ 1hr), the doctor was kind. i went to check on my blocked ear and got the earwax drip and was told to return aft 2-3days if it was still blocked. i went back for my 2nd visit and was told my earwax is soft enough but unfortunately the ear syringing (they dont have microsuction service) didnt work. after which the doctor suggest to write me a referral letter to ENT specialist, which i asked if i can go see the doctor today (cause i was very uncomfortable and desperate) which he said can do it today, but when i went to get the letter/make payment from receptionist, she showed me the letter and told me to call the hospital myself to make an appointment?? at which i was v confused, so what what was the referral letter for then? AND I WAS CHARGED $8 FOR THE REFERRAL LETTER maybe is a new practice/im ignorant of the current medical practices but i have never heard of a referral letter to be charged AND i have to make an apptment myself. in any case, we returned agn to ask the receptionist to call aft i called the hospital but was told there are a few doctors at different clinics so i need to refer to their website to check. the receptionist FINALLY tried to make an apptment for us but it was 2 days later and the price is way higher than what i can google for a qualified ENT clinic with microsuction service available. so in the end i went to this clinic called Zenith Medical Clinic (THANKS) which was fast and efficient w microsuction service at a fraction of the price that i would pay if i went for the referred ENT specialist and i wasted $8 on a referral letter that's literally of no use now and i cant even get a refund ): but ok the doctor is still nice and patient, and he waived the 2nd visit's consultation fee but just.. maybe think twice abt getting a referral letter.

The staff (afternoon shift) is very rude and ill mannered. Have been attended twice by her, a middle-aged short hair lady. Think hers is evening duty as she comes in at 6pm for the evening session consultations. Her replies are short, simple and rude, no eye contact when answering. Her young colleague attitude is much better than hers. Doctor Jason is nice and well mannered. Not sure how this aunty clinical assistant gets her job, she needs to refresh her customer service skills!!! Don't work front desk jobs if you cannot communicate professionally. Even NTUC aunty cashier attitude is better than hers!!!

There are 2 doctors that are there often that see the patients. Dr Winston and Dr Jason. Both are generally good doctors but the one you should watch out for is Dr Winston. Rude and quite honestly very irritating cause he will never listen to what you have to say and will push his diagnosis and ideas onto you. Dr Jason is a sweetheart and will listen to you patiently. Now my tips before you visit is to call and check who is the doctor that is in. Best to go early in the morning because the last time I went there by 7pm, they had already closed registrations to see the doctor and I had to find another doctor on my own. The staff there were alright. Not the worst I have experienced but quite honestly not the best either. But I can understand the stress they have in having to handle so many things at once.

Don’t purchase any injections here. I’ve purchased the Gardasil injection package which comes with 3 injections. But every time I come in, it’s either they have a long waiting time or their queue number has finished (they don’t take in any more patients, not even for an injection that take less than 3 minutes). First time when I went, they allowed me to go in for injection directly and I don’t have to join the queue. Second time, told me must join queue. And there was a nurse who is plump with specs whom I wasn’t talking to, just walking past and saying out loud in a rude tone “must queue one what!” And just walked off even though I heard her and tried to told her my first encounter there. Not a hint of empathy or even basic courtesy. No one was talking to her, she just appeared out of nowhere. Joke. Terrible experience and attitude with the clinic. The only one holding up and above standards is Doctor Jason. He has great attitude and patience. Otherwise, there’s nothing else good with this clinic. NOTE: I’ve requested since the very beginning if I could make appointments for the injections so that I don’t have to wait. They rejected as well. So it’s basically, I can only walk in to take the injections. If I’m lucky, they will let me in to take the injections I purchased from them. If not, then shoo. Come another day. Practically wasting my time.
