β β β β β Itβs famous but I really think itβs ok only. It tasted ok - more salty than sweet type due to plenty of dried salted fish, and Chinese sausage. The rice is abit dry. I prefer mine more oily, and sweeter with dark soya sauce. Overall just lack abit of taste. And itβs a little expensive at $15 for 2 people serving. Iβve had much better ones Wales where.

β β β β β Small serving is excellent for 2 hungry pax or 3 light eaters. The ingredients (in picture) is decent in quantity. The chicken cubes are fresh, tender and fresh!
Although the waiting time is long, I feel itβs a great trade off for a delicious claypot since itβs cooked on the spot (in picture).
So be caution of tiny bones in every bite as they put salted fish in them.
There are other reviewers that mentioned about their service or attitude; my thoughts on that would mirror but I doesnβt bother me.
Overall, I will go back again! ?

β β β β β Ordered in advance before heading down for collection. The portion is pretty small and would recommend adding extra chicken to have more ingredients. I enjoyed the flavour of the rice and the chicken together and itβs something thatβs hard to find in Singapore nowadays.

β β β β β Nice burned, charred rice taste. Smallest size is for 2 pax, so single pax should abstain or have a big appetite.
Went on Sunday at lunch time, and there was no queue.
There are only 2 types of claypot rice to choose from.

β β β β β Preordered 15min before arriving and the rice was ready by the time we got there. We tried the chicken Claypot rice for 2 pax at $15β¦ it was decent but the soy sauce was not sweet enough I think hk ones taste better but this is decent enough for Singapore standard.. but is it good enuf to be on Michelin guide ? Iβm not sure

β β β β β Still as good as before! Been a long while since I came to eat this claypot rice! Good to call n order before u head down, so that u can have your piping hot hot food when u arrive! N not to forget to mention the soup, it's very good! ???

β β β β β Had been wanting to try this place as Iβve heard so much about it but was put off by the long wait times. Then found out that you can order ahead, then show up at the arranged time to get your stuff and chow down.
Ordered the chicken and Chinese sausage claypot rice. Portion was $15 and ample for hearty appetites. Chicken was mostly boneless though there were little bones all round. Sausage tasted like it was liver based and quite good quality. Overall the dish was well flavored and the crispy bits were just right.
They are not open on Wednesday and seating is quite easy to get. Wish they had some birdseed chillies but alas, only chillie sauce/paste was available. They also had soups and side dishes but did not try. Will come back again.

β β β β β The mixed flavour claypot rice was not bad. Especially enjoyed the salted fish and two types of Chinese sausages. The rice could be more flavourful though. The pork rib winter melon soup and oyster sauce vegetables were not bad too. It closed at about 1220pm at lunchtime on a weekday. Better to call ahead to order.
