★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mee soto (soup more like mee rebus gravy) and mee siam tasted average but the stall owners are very nice people. E-payment available too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best and value for $$ nasi pandan in the west. Lots of dishes to choose, at least 4 types of chicken dishes can choose from. High CP值. Enough being say, go try for yourself, certainly worth the queue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gooey delicious mee rebus. Shima's kitchen is popular for their nasi padang during lunchtime. But who knew about their breakfast option was amazingly satisfying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very reasonable price. Went today and got myself a big chicken thigh, fresh achar, quail eggs, samba veggie, ikan bilis with “smelly” beans. And lots of gravy. All for only $7.5. Elsewhere i might have to pay $10 for it. Not to mention, it is delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Know of this very popular nasi padang stall inside Holland Village food centre, came here serval times it was either sold out or closed. Reached here slightly just before 12pm and was greeted by a long queue. After waiting in line for closed to 20mins, it was finally my turn to order. When I was there, there was a wide variety of dishes to choose from.
Picked 3 dishes, the ayam goring, curry vegetable and the telur dadar. My meal was SGD$4.50, which was relatively wallet friendly. Usually if I order the same dishes elsewhere, it would have easily cost me SGD$5 and above. Ayam goring was flavorful and well marinated. Curry vegetable was acceptable, however a little too bland and dilute for my liking. Telur dadar was not bad either.
Overall, quite decent and affordable nasi padang. Not surprised on why they are so popular. Would definitely come back again to try their other dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came early (11am) on a weekday to escape the queue but still had to wait for 15 mins. Also, we were too early – a lot of dishes were not ready yet.
Food was ok, not bad but not great either. The vegetable curry was quite bland. Portions were generous and reasonably cheap too.
Slightly underwhelmed after getting to try it (I eat here often but the long queue always deters me from trying), doesn’t justify the waiting time tbh.
