★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discovered a gem today. Tucked away in the corner of the hawker Centre is a dim sum stall. Hand made paus. The skin itself is so fragrant you can savour it on its own. The siew Mai and har kows are quite unique too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They sell bao with a variety of fillings. I tried their big pork pau (da rou bao). The skin is fluffy. The filling is quite generous and is well-seasoned. I liked how the filling is still chunky.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yam Bao had very little filling compared to dough. The paste was indeed very smooth, but the flavour didn’t really appeal to me - I prefer the taste of the factory-made yam baos haha. The dough itself wasn’t fluffy and soft either, which was disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After having my lunch at the hawker centre, I noticed that this stall had a culinary excellence award displayed on their sign board. I decided to give it a try. I had a yam pau ($0.80) which was small. However, the taste of it was very good. It tasted almost like the Teochew dessert yam paste (orh ni). Would definitely recommend coming here to try out their different flavours.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The vegetable and red bean baos were pretty good. The skins were soft and the fillings were generous. The red beans were not too sweet. Sellers were pleasant and hygenic. E-payment was available too.
