Have been having my facial sessions for years with my friendly beauty consultant Janet. The environment is also clean and comfortable.

Unpleasant experience overall at the NEX outlet. The consultant whom I was assigned to was always hardselling during the end of every visit and inviting me to a room and sit and talk about signing up for a next package. When I declined or mentioned that I did not want to consider it at that point in time, her face turned dark and started sounding demeaning, even asking me to leave some money down as a downpayment of sorts. Moreover, there was guilt tripping when I mentioned that I might consider other places for my facial and they claimed that if my face condition turns bad do not blame them. During the facial itself, majority of the time was waiting. Waiting for the consultant to come in after changing to their gown (can take up to 10 mins to wait), and in between maskings and all. The actual exfoliation and eyebrow trimming also felt like they were done half-heartedly. Overall, wouldn't recommend choosing NYSS.

Staff in New York Akin are professional. I always have good facial experience with them and their product are of good quality. Highly recommended for people looking for high quality facial care.

Consultant Shermaine was kind during treatment everytime and her team was good too :) Good Customer Service from the front desk staff vivi and jessica. during treatment shermaine was very gentle and suggest treatment that was needed for my condition . will recommend to others

tldr: zero effort in reaching out to customer for follow-up sessions after i bought a $398 package, which consist of 10 session (which they hard-sold to me) Lots of hard selling when I went for the first trial session, where I spent $398 for a package with 10 sessions. There was effort from the branch to book the next appointment with me. But subsequent to that first out of 10 sessions, they stopped contacting me and made ZERO effort to book the next appointment with me. So I guess to them, sales is the only thing that matters and not so much of scheduling appointments with customers? LOL. It's been 5 months since I received a follow up text from them (ok, I wasn't playing hard to get but I genuinely just thought that this was kinda their job since I paid $398 to sign a PACKAGE...). prior to signing with New York skin solutions, l had my facial done at a neighbourhood place where they would follow up diligently on when I'd like to book my next appointment. so when I signed with New York Skin Solution, I thought they'd do the same since their name is pretty big in the market and I would think staff would have proper training in customer service too. hahaha.. but for some reason, their service can't compare to an unpopular beautician place. so when I finally decided to drop them a text to ask when I can book an appointment with them, they literally just left me a message to say they're packed. zero follow up again. lol. someone help me... its $398 spent. I feel cheated lol. I hope this review gave u some insights as to whether u should sign a package with them. I'd say, you might receive better customer service elsewhere :) cheers.

I’ve been serviced by Shermaine and find that she has been really helpful and professional in giving me advice on my facial issues. She has recommended a program that suits my issue and budget. Thumbs up to my beautician advisor Shermaine.
