We were just passing by today and got invited in for a look. 2 male promoters were appropriately mannered. Not pushy or over enthusiatic which made our shopping experience great. With their introduction to their various massage chairs, even though we have yet to purchase, we are seriously considering it.

We were initially interested to buy the Estilo Prime X Back Massage and decided to check out the product at Jewel Changi. However, the pricing on shopee and lazada (based purely on the discounts offered by the official Ogawa store) was much cheaper at $332 as compared to $398 at the physical store. The staff at Jewel Changi, Han, told us with confidence that he can call management to match the pricing. After taking photo of my phone screen without asking for permission and assuring us that his management can match this price, Han sent a WhatsApp to his management and called them. To our surprise, the pricing on shopee and lazada was instantly revised upwards to $398 instead of Han revising the pricing downwards to $332. When we asked for a picture of the photo taken so that we can provide feedback to the management, Han started being defensive saying that he had deleted the photo, which was obviously a lie as he had sent this picture (taken without my permission) to the management via WhatsApp. When confronted on the promise he made to us earlier, he became defensive and started raising his voice to us, threatening us that we will breach PDPA laws by asking for his name. This is a horrendous shopping experience for us. Should this continue to happen, I am sure this will drive potential customer to other established competitors, who can not only keep to their promises but also provide better service.

We were looking for a massage chair and popped in to see as they have a wide range of products. Wayne was helpful in explaining the various chairs and invited us to try a couple. He was courteous and not pushy.
