โ โ โ โ โ Always see a long snake Q โฆ I always think itโs waste time.
But today
I decided to try since I am but 4 plates!!! Ok I try.
Seriously for one plate I will not Q but itโs nice lahโฆ not oily โฆ taste is good โฆ
Go for the smaller size and order more dish to share.

โ โ โ โ โ Old school ckt, stall been around for long time. Still same hands handling, crowd and order control is good. Somehow felt taste changed but still good. Will return if queue not long when nearby. Or when price increases again, thatโs the last time I visited previously.

โ โ โ โ โ Delicious fried kway teow mee with fresh cockles, beansprouts, eggs, and Chinese sausages. The price is super reasonable at $4. Follow the long line that wraps itself along the stall's side wall to queue and order.

โ โ โ โ โ Always a treat when Iโm in Singapore to come to this stall. Best char kway teow and best stall in Hong Lim.
I highly recommend you make this a priority food visit when in Singapore! Be prepared to wait at least an hour (maybe 2) if you arrive after 11am.
Make sure to order with extra cockles!

โ โ โ โ โ Well many reviews here said it is not as good as last time...
I am so sad because it is the first time for me. The noodle is decent quite nice for me. The cockles is fantastic, sweet and juicy.
It is the BEST cockles I ever eat in CKT!
Staffs, very friendly.

โ โ โ โ โ New found favourite char kway teow. Nice wok hey and sufficiently moist. Queue may look long but it moves fast. $4.50 (small) or $5.50 (large). Option to add more cockles and/or egg is available.

โ โ โ โ โ One of the best Char Koay Teow in Singapore. The lard and cockle juice in the sauce is perfect. Not a meal that you would eat everyday due to tue calories as in any stall. The Q is long but very efficient. The staff is friendly and overall a good experience. Avoid peak lunch hours. I drop one star because the number of cockles reduced over the years. It used to be loaded with heaps of cockles but understandably it is not economical to do that nowadays. Nevertheless still one of the best CKT in town.

โ โ โ โ โ When I patronize this Char Kway Teow, I am mentally prepared to queue. So I always try to get there earlier during non peak hours .
Arrived at 10:21am and I thought I was early and yet I was 14th in the queue. And almost immediately, 4 more queued behind me.
Fortunately, the wait wasnโt too long as most in the queue were buying one or two portions, and not โtakeawayโ customer ordering 5 to 10 portions.
I got me CKT with 20 minutes wait. Not bad. The โfatherโ was doing the cooking.
As usual, the flavor was so good (I asked for noodles to be fried drier, with Chilli and more pork lard and of course the Si Hum) that wifey could smell it while I was walking to the table.
Couldnโt wait to dig in.
This comfort food never fail.
