Curry is delicious. Although using chicken breast meat, it is not dry n able to absorb the curry taste to make it delicious.

I don't mind queueing when comes to good hawker food. Heng Kee Curry Chicken Noodles will always pop up in my mind when we talk about "Curry Chicken." One of the best in Singapore . Location: Heng Kee Curry Chicken Noodles, 531A Upper Cross St, #01-58, Singapore 051531

I like that the curry is not that heavy and have pretty strong coconut taste. I could finish the whole soup which means it tastes so good! The tau pok is great and chicken meat is tender. The chili is nice to complement the meat and the curry itself is not too spicy Ordered the $5 bowl which I think pretty small for the price. Came on Sunday night and there was only a short queue

Long queue as usual at this popular stall. The curry is a bit on the sweet side for my taste. Now the price has gone up. Small bowl costs $6.00 and the big bowl costs $9. If you order the big bowl, you get to choose the chicken part, example, the thigh. A bit of warning though, if you request for a bit more curry for the small bowl, the owner will β€˜tell you off’ and tell you to get the big bowl version if you want more gravy. And if you get more chili, the Aunty will also β€˜tell you off’. Enjoy the noodle but don’t push your β€˜luck’ with the curry or chili.

I would say worth the queue if it is like less than 10 to 15 persons in front of you. The wait around 1pm on a weekday is around 15 minutes. The curry is flavourful and chicken breast is very tender. Price wise is on the high side at $5.50 or $8, however, the serving of the ingredients are quite generous, with lots of meat, tau pok, however, lesser potato and fish cake. Perhaps for $8 one, would like to see more potato and fish cake.

Tried few times before Covid and today I found it’s different. Before that I believed it’s cooked father of current ?‍?. Everything the chicken, carry soup, noodle texture just tasty and authentic. But now all we’re taste commercial, chicken tasted bland, curry tasted heavy-msged And price were gone up $8.50 for big and $6 for small The difference just big one is drumsticks ?, and small is breast and other part of chicken ?. The stall lady is very old, and the cook is her son (I guess) . Another 3 generations hawker stall legends Stall opens 1030-3pm , closes on Sunday.

If you plan to eat here expect to wait quite a bit for your order, as it always has a long line of customers lining up to order their bowl of curry noodles. As for me I had to queue for about 20 minutes to get my order but the wait was worth it. There are two sizes to chose from the - $6 or $9 sizes. I opted for the smaller of the two. The Curry noodles was topped with generous portions of chicken meat, tau pok, and fish cake. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. It was well worth the wait.
