Pleasantly surprised. Decided to go for this because the queue was tai Wah was not moving. Probably someone had a huge order. Hence, dabao this and viola! The noodles was al dante, minced meat was normal, but the balls were quite awesome!

The queue was long and thought, let’s ty it out. Nothing outstanding at all and the noodles had a very strong ‘gee’ taste to it. The fish balls were also very average. Seems like it’s overpriced considering the small bowl cost $3.50.

Noodle is quite okay, fishball is tasteless, prawn dumpling too much pepper powder. After eating, a bit thirsty. Overall below average.

Saw a long queue when i was there. Waited in line for almost 15mins before it was my turn. ordered their mushroom minced pork noodle $4. Honestly speaking, noodle was very average. the noodle had this alkaline taste which i totally hate, the fishball does not seems to be homemade except for the meatball.

Item #5, $4.00 Fishball Minced Meat Noodle. Nostalgia taste and quality. Not bad actually. The key point is the bowl of soup and fishball, they are big. The noodle is just about right in size and taste. It seems to have a fishy extract, perhaps from the fishballs they are selling. It was also oily due to the used of pork lard, but nit complaining about it. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable meal.

Hong Lim is one of my favourite Hawker Centre with a lot of my favourite food but it is also unfortunate that the best offerings here are only available during peak lunch, and it is crazy to try to get a table. The last few times I was here, I noticed this fairly new Fishball Noodle stall that seem to have gathered a small following in daily queue. Today, kinda late for late arriving just 10 minutes to 2pm and pretty much all of my favourites are finished. Saw this. No queue. Let's try. Oh well. No where close to my favourite TeoChew Fishball Noodle's Mee Pok Ta. But if you ask me, fare slightly better than your average food court's offering. Mee Pok were kinda hard and under-cooked, too oily and you cannot taste the chilli or vinegar. Fishcake slices and add-on were a let down. Thick and chewy but Typical flour packed factory fare. Chilli were the fried dried chilli type, too oily, not fragrant enough, and can't taste the dried shrimp at all. Lastly, the only saving grace are the fishballs and the soup. Only Passable. Better than your average food court junk, and lose to Ming Fa. And Mind you, i don't regard Ming Fa very high. Also they don't offer spring onions or fried shallot oil on your soup version just so you know. Passable if no other choices. Specially come here for this? Nah.

There's Q for this fish ball noodles store n really disappointed to have decided to try, fish ball don't taste "handmade"... Really really no point to Q n try... Noodles taste "not cooked", sauce taste "weird"... Really not one of the best fish ball noodles as the store claimed it is... Please try to avoid at all time... The 西刀 fish cake is eatable thou, but u can get it in any other 西刀 fish cake store, really no need to Q for this ...

This noodle was absolutely disgusting and not worth the wait. Even Maggi Mee has better taste than this. The queue was solely attributed to the stall owner being slow in processing orders. Find one of the better stalls in Hong Lim Hawker, or eat cup noodles.
