Awesome place with helpful staff. However, lots of kids are running around making noises as what commented by other reviews. Can try other outlets

Nowadays...this library is quite noisy... Children running around and screaming...parents does not take control of their kids...Librarian also did not take actions to prevent it....seems to me like a children's playground or amusement centre....hope those in charge can do something about it... Thank you!!

An upgraded Libray at white sands mall. Very well laid out with lots. Of corners to read a book quietly. The steps that are near the window are a great place to read a book. The automated systems to borrow books after the upgrade is fantastic

Well designed public library witha variety of reference & reading materials that u can read in your own preferred corner, with great view of surroundings from the window as bonus!

Pasir Ris Public Library ❤Love to visit here once or twice a week, it is located on the fourth floor of White Sands Shopping Centre in Pasir Ris, the library is different from others, without much tables and chairs for students to study and use their laptops. On 28 November 2015 it was reopened after a nine-month renovation. The new library spans 1,986 sq m with an increased collection size of 125,000 books and 300 magazines titles. It boasts a new space for teenagers known as the Teens’ Mezzanine, which features doodle walls for users to express themselves and is run by a team of teenage volunteers. These volunteers, mentored by NLB librarians, are also tasked with curating book displays and organising youth programmes. Library patrons can view promotional videos for books on a screen, and recommend books by scanning library books and recommending these books to their peers.

My rating: 4/5 What I like in libraries: Books that are available that I originally have on my online To-Be-Read (TBR). Spacious environments. Multiple book genres. It was my first time going to the Pasir Ris library, but I was quite surprised at how many topics they had. Art, culture, fiction, non-fiction, thriller, mystery, horror, travel, and more. There were two levels. The second level had the teen section. The first level had a quiet reading lounge. The location is a bit far. Depending on where you are, of course. But if you stay close to Pasir Ris, the location is really good because you just have to go out of exit A, and the mall in which the library is right in front of the MRT station. They probably have what you are interested in since there is such a big selection of books. The Pasir Ris library is a library I would go to with a group of friends and just sit down and read. I would recommend this library for people that maybe want to learn something or just read something. Studying or working on your computer is also an option in the quiet reading lounge. The location at the same time is kind of nice when you're actually at the library because if you want to eat a snack or a meal, you just have to go downstairs because it's a mall. Overall, the library does have a good selection and a good location once you're actually at the library.

Such a beautiful library. Stylish and well stocked. Staff are very friendly and helpful too. One of the best national libraries I have ever visited. I could spend hours in here.
