β β β β β We did a canine massage course recently under the guidance of Karen. We discovered this year that our 16yo dachshund is hard of hearing, in fact deaf. In less than 2 weeks after practising the massage on his ears, his hearing has improved!! Recently he would perk his ear up again when I call (well.. shout) his name, which has not happened for a couple of months since he became deaf.
We also enjoyed the little group session during the course with easy to follow massage techniques that we can easily practise at home with our furkids.
Would absolutely recommend Paws Fur Life to all dog moms, itβs great to learn how to release the muscle tensions with daily diy massage.

β β β β β I took Siew Leng's cooking class recently and enjoyed it tremendously. Although my family has already been feeding homecooked food to our dog for a long time, we still had some doubts whether the meals were nutritious or balanced enough, hence my motivation for taking this class.
Initially I thought it was expensive but knowing that it comes with lifetime access to an online course on pet nutrition in a local context, I figured this was a worthwhile investment so I can learn to cook for my dog in a more intentional manner.
I've found Siew Leng to be a gentle, kind and knowledgable teacher who cares about animal wellbeing. The class starts with an one-hour educational slideshow where she goes through some foundational concepts on pet nutrition and homecooked food (these are snippets from her online course), followed by two hours of practical cooking. The class size is kept small and cosy at 3 students and there was a lot of fun sharing and interaction among everyone, including Karen who helped out.
Overall, taking the course and class has deepened my understanding of what makes a nourishing and balanced homecooked meal, and has also given me some practical tips that I can implement right away as well as a recipe book for future use. We left the class as better pet owners and also a big yummy feast for our lucky pets! This class has exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it to all dog owners who wish to improve their furkid's lives.

I also attended the cooking class to learn to prepare nutritious food for my fur kid which is tasty even for human.
Both teacher Karen and Siew Leng are knowledgeable and really cares about the well being for students furkid as well.
The cooking class is engaging ??, lots of information and fun ?β? ? .

β β β β β Our 2 dogs have been attending monthly massage sessions at Paws Fur Life with Karen. Each session allows them to relax comfortably and have their tension knots blissfully kneaded away by the skillful hands/ techniques of Karen.
Apart from giving professional advice/feedback on the dogs' muscle condition during each session, the best part is the love, kindness and genuine care both Karen & Siew Leng exudes for every dog! :)

β β β β β Siew Leng is a great instructor. She distills key information and practical tips on cooking and nutrition in a few hours. My dog has food restrictions and we tweaked the recipes to accommodate what she can eat. Highly recommend the class! I feel more confident in preparing home cooked meals to my dog after this course!

β β β β β I really enjoyed Massage with TTouch Bodywork course. I brought my dog with me and got to practice many useful and easy techniques on her which she seemed to enjoy and was seen dozing off and on throughout the practice session. My other dog absolutely loves the ear massages. Highly recommend this interactive course!

β β β β β Attended the dog massage class, was a good 3 hours time spend. Karen is very experienced and willing to share her knowledge for the wellness of our pets. Dog massage is not a luxury for our pets but acts as a healing in many aspects. The knowledge we learn can be practise on them throughout their lifetime. Highly recommend for pet parents.

β β β β β Karen has been looking after my ex-breeding dog rescue Leia since 2018. Leia had undergone 2 TPLO surgeries and has been undergoing hydrotherapy till today to help build strength and flexibility. Karen was introduced to me by Terry from Gooddogpeople , and massages Leia once a fortnight. It has helped with the tightness and soreness and Leia is visibly more relaxed after each session. When I adopted a 12 year old Samoyed, a victim of neglect, he was knuckling and could hardly walk due to severe muscle atrophy. Leopold could not do hydrotheraphy because of bedsores and a tick infestation from a neglient fosterer, so Karen stepped in after he was cleared of ticks to help him. And just recently, we started massage sessions on my 3 year old miniature bull terrier too (actually, she plonked herself in front of Karen and demanded to be massaged). Her sessions are always a source of relaxed excitement and my dogs always look forward to it. Doggie massage is so underrated, and there may be many who scoff at it, but my three are living proof that it does change their quality of life tremendously.
