β β β β β Conveniently located in the North Point City. The customer relationship officer is friendly and efficient to sort out the account opening procedures.
Additional Notes post account opening:
While the accounting opening procedures and counter customer services rendered by Louis is excellent, the follow up at the back office is not satisfactory. The intention for the new account is to take over all the shares from a legacy account account with Phillip Securities, the transfer of international shares internally from legacy account to the new account within Phillip (complementary) was quite fast and met expectation. However, the transfer of local shares is very slow and not being done after one week from the date of meeting at the Investor Centre (still outstanding). Also discover that a heavy transfer fee for local shares is applicable to transfer shares internally within the same company, this is frustrating.....

Though it was already 2pm, he set aside his lunch and spent an hour helping us to open accounts for selected persons i.e. via the manual forms. He patiently explained and answered all our enquires! Thanks a lot for your help! It was pleasant setting up accounts at Phillips and we appreciate his service to go extra mile.
