Pioneer Polyclinic is truly a boon to all Pioneer/Boon Lay Residents. Very prompt and efficient service provided. Went for kid's nausea and diarrhea problem. Reception was very prompt and professional. Doctor was very patient while listening to patient concerns- didn't rush through. Thorough examination was performed. The Medications prescribed were very effective. Overall very happy with the standard of care. Kudos to all doctors and healthcare workers in the facility!

Newly built building with a clean and modern look. It has multiple self-serving machines for registering for an appointment/consultation, registering for collection of medicine at the pharmacy, and for paying the bill. Multiple attendants are on standby, ready to help if one does not understand how to use the machines. The building is kept clean, and the air conditioning is neither too strong nor too weak. It has a nice design, with comfortable chairs and multiple gardens on the balcony for a relaxing wait. The wait can be quite long, especially if one does not have an appointment. The wait at the pharmacy is completely dependent on when you scan in at the pharmacy, regardless of appointment or not. With an appointment, the wait can be until exactly the appointment timing, or up to around 15 minutes after the appointment timing. An appointment can be made easily either from the NUHS website, or via the HealthHub website/app. However, appointments can only be made on the day of, and early appointments times can be snatched up if not booked at midnight. The doctors on the third floor are very friendly and helpful, whereas the doctors on the second floor have worse bedside manner. If you have flu symptoms, you will be sent to the second floor, and might be given only a day's MC despite sneezing/coughing constantly.

Worst polyclinic in our first world singapore healthcare system. I was discharge after having dengue and SGH refer to follow up blood test with neighbourhood polyclinic. Went online to book for a appt but no date was given. When on that day as instructed by SGH and was turn off saying that all clinic in pioneer polyclinic is full. Ask me try to book again for another date. It was a follow up for dengue and blood count on mine body. Fed up and went to my usual private doc. The Doc say they should not turn me away cos mine is a dengue case. I think the goverment should close down all polyclinic and open more private clinic as my process with my private doc is 30 mins wait. What a world class GOVERMENT healthcare systems!

Yesterday 13/5/22 at around 3pm+, i brought my mum to get her booster shot as well as for myself. I registered with the counter lady and asked where is the toilet. The lady pointed the direction to me and I went to the toilet with my mum who was on a wheelchair. Incident 1. I guided my mum into the handicap toilet and went out to wait for her. When she has finished, I realised she dunno how to press the β€˜open’ button to exit. I tried to press fro the outside but it was reflected as occupied so the door won’t open. My mum got impaitent and started to bang on the door. I went to the counter lady who registered for me and my mum and asked her for assistance. She came over to the toilet and tried to pressed the same button as I did and the door won;t open. Meanwhile my mum started banging the door more. The counter lady got the attention of the cleaning auntie but she also dunno what to do. I saw a power button at the top of the door and asked if that could be switched off. I asked for a stick to switch off the power. The counter lady told the cleaning auntie to bring a stick and so she did. But the stick still could not reach the power button on the top of the door. The auntie called her supervisor for help and 5 mintues later the supervisor switched off the power using his mobile phone to reach up to the top of the door and the door finally open. Incident 2. We waited for the vaccination and I saw a lady in a room in front of the foyer doing something, but she d’ont look very busy. She looked like the staff who will be giving the vaccination. But I was not sure. Our queue numbers were 26 and 27. The electronic signage showed 21. But for quite a long time, the number did not move. I dunno what the lady in the room was doing, she wasn’t particularly busy. Why the queue number 21 was not moving for quite a few minutes. There were only a handful of people waiting to be vaccinated by the queue number was not moving at all. My mum got very tired of waiting and I had to bring her out for a walk so as to distract her from her boredom. Later I came back to the waiting foyer and the number went up to 25. About Incident 1. Why the counter lady or any staff on the same floor not trained how to open the handicap toilet door during an emergency? What if someone inside fainted or have a heart attack? What would have happen next? About Incident 2. Why was the lady in the room so slow? When I came to register, the queue number was 21. After my mum got out from the toilet, the number remained as 21 until my mum got tired of waiting that i had to bring her out for a walk. Upon returning from the walk, the queue number went to 25. Was the lady in the room having her lunch break time?

Got rejected from walking in as reception said I do not have fever which i had took panadol and slighlty recovered from. Told her I had bleeding gums and showed rashes. Was dismissed and was told clinic was full. Efficient. Do not need to wait so long so to see a professional doctor.

The worst ever pharmacy service from a polyclinic that I had ever seen. Today my daughter went to see the doctor here at about 10am. She then had to wait for nearly 3 hours to collect her medicine from the pharmacy. When she approached the pharmacy counter to enquire, they kept telling her that her Queue number was in the waiting list . At 12.50pm, my daughter approached the counter again and informed them that she had to leave without collecting her medicine as she was not feeling well. It was only after that that she was told that her medicine would be dispensed to her very shortly as they were in the process of packing it for her. Unbelieveable ! The pharmacy service here is terrible! This pharmacy is really disorganised!

No proper crowd management. Full of patients in the clinic, with no Safe Distancing. I think it can be better managed. I understand it can sometimes be overwhelming, but I strongly believe it can be better managed. From my observation, they are understaff. In addition, their pharmacy waiting time is also very long. They should seriously increase their staffs.

On 7th May 2022, we had a very pleasant experience with a extremely kind and understanding security officer at the Pioneer Polyclinic. I had a problem with my right leg near the last toe. It was very painful and to walk 1 metre is a tremendous struggle for me with my dear wife assisting me. When we get out of the taxi, I was grimacing in pain and we managed just a couple of steps to let the taxi drive off. We stopped to allow me to relieve from the pain. The security officer who was preparing to open up the clinic for patients to queue up, saw me struggling to walk. He was so kind in asking the guy in charge of the store room to open their store room and he went in to get the wheelchair for me. To our relief we were so grateful to him. He even help to push me to the front of the queue. As we were early our queue was number 1. He set such a great example for others to follow. I managed to take a glance at his name tag and he is Mr. Yong. He is such a compassionate person, young and good looking. This guy really makes the clinic very proud. Thank you Mr. Yong for your exemplary service. All the best to you.
