Had dinner at Pretty Easy Cafe. Was impressed with the food and service. Sumptuous and healthy meal at reasonable price. Nice ambience, too. ???

Been here a few times already. Food is always consistent and good quality. A healthier yet affordable option considering the location. The Staff there are also very friendly and always nice to chat with them.

Food claimed to be "fresh" is actually microwaved, pretty much their entire menu is microwaved. Owners are clueless as to what the meaning of "fresh food" is, rice cooked in the morning but microwaved in the evening is still microwaved food, not "fresh food" as advertised. They somehow manage to undercook microwaved food, making it pretty much inedible.Their "salad" is lettuce tossed in MAPLE SYRUP, and is apparently one of the selling points of their cafe, which says a lot about the establishment. Any criticism towards their food ultimately leads to irrelevant, uncalled for personal attacks on their part.

An absolute dissapoinment. Placed order for their chicken rice lunch set and the portion was just pathetic. For $6 we received stale microwaved shreds of chicken and about 5 tablespoons of red/brown rice. Looked more like a kids menu than an adults portion. But the worst part was that we could clearly see that all the food served, even the rice was basically pre-packaged from god knows when and simple heated up in the microwave when ordered. It didn't taste fresh and neither is it healthy to eat stale, microwaved food. That too after paying $6!!!! I swear you could buy freshly prepared food for 3-5$ from the other eateries nearby and you can simply opt for the brown rice option. We should've known from the fact that this cafe had barely any patrons when the other eateries nearby were more packed with the lunch crowd. The least they could've done is to serve freshly cooked food instead of heating up food from ages ago. If that's the idea of healthy food then you're better off buying pre-packaged food from 7-11 and heating it up yourself no? Honestly, even 7-11 food tastes fresher. Also the cakes on display looked like they've been hanging out at the shelf for weeks! Absolutely stale looking and so awful! You're better off buying a Starbucks cake instead, for that kinda sky high price!!!!! I've never written a goodle review for anything but this cafe was SO HORRIBLE that I just had to. Please don't waste your money and time!

I like the delicious and healthy Chicken Rice set! Not oily at all and I really like the multigrain rice with some raisins on it. The cold capuccino with seaweed jelly is refreshing and pairs very well with the chicken rice! Highly recommended!!

This was their $6 meal, it wasn't nice and the portion was very small for the price they were charging. I second the other reviewers below who felt the portion was inadequate, and it wasn't really a good meal because they were basically microwaving the chicken. I've never gone back since. Edit to add: Well, just look at their attitude when they reply.. defensive and arrogant. I've no problems finding better food at the $5/$6, and never ever had the need to come back to their cafe.

Soup of the day was very obviously Campbell's mushroom potage and the server said it's highly recommended ... Korean chicken rice set was very dry, no gravy at all. However, the Rice was fluffy and my friends liked their vegetarian chicken rice. I liked the tea. Wouldn't mind coming here for drinks but not the food.

I'm only putting one star because google reviews won't let me post without it. I'm incredibly disappointed by the food here. I was excited to find a new 'healthy' place that looked affordable, but I should have known better. I paid $5.90 for the korean chicken lunch plate (picture attached). Maybe it looks extra sad because I opted for no rice, but even then, this was disappointing. The chicken has potential, but the portion size is a huge letdown. Also, for some reason, the salad (which was just lettuce with two slices of cucumber and tiny slivers of tomato) seems to have been washed in something sweet? It's not dressing, but it tastes like sugar syrup, which was pretty gross. I still don't know what it was. Needs serious improvement.
