β β β β β The staff is very inconsistent here. My helper went for her health check up in the morning and waited for half an hour. The receptionist told her there was no slot, ask her come back again between 12 to 2. She went about 1pm and came back again without doing her check up as the receptionist said is full again and asked her come back the next day at 2.30pm. I went down with my helper to confirm the slot again and the receptionist mentioned 2.30pm slot for the next day is full and asked us to go at 6.30 the next day. Very unprofessional of the staff and I trust the horrible reviews that were given in this Google review. Bad experience

β β β β β My experience will specifically focus on the long waiting time and unjust treatment prior to consultation. I have no comments on the treatment as it is, afterall, a GP. I waited for >1 hr even though I am second in the queue. My overall waiting experience was terrible as I was carrying a sick boy all these while. With a lack of a proper queue system, the doctor saw another 3 more patients before seeing me.
Not making to make a fuss, I queried only upon payment. It's unjust because she mentioned that patients were queued, based on physical presence in the clinic. Yet there were clearly a family of a mum, 2 children, & 2 grandparents - all of whom appeared last minute and clearly came 30 minutes after I arrived. But they were given preferential treatment to consult the doc before me. Just before they 'pestered' the reception counter more than me?
I am truly disappointed at this clinic. Having called to registered, having told I was second in the queue, having to wait for more than 1 hr, having my turn being 'cut' unfairly = I strongly do not recommend this clinic.
Unless U are on the right end of this unfair treatment.

β β β β β Be warned that the manadr is a rather buggy system. Will not patronise this clinic anymore. very bad experience since the introduction of manadr. Ever since this clinic switched to this system, consultation time seems to have extended miraculously. about 30min to an hour wait per pax. Used to be way faster.
I booked an appointment and was there in the clinic way before my scheduled appointment time. first thing I did when I reached the clinic, i verified with the staff that my appointment had been registered. she checked her system and verified that it is indeed registered. during the 1hour wait, I kept checking back with the staff to confirm the queue situation because each consultation took about 30 over minutes, which seems to be ridiculously long. in a surprise turn of event, the next queue number appeared and clearly it was an apptment time that was after mine. my number has been skipped. the patient went in and so, to avoid any conflicts or further wait, I left the clinic and went to an alternative which was further away from my residence. regretted not going there earlier, as the whole process was so much smoother. there is seriously a need to review the manadr or the workflow with this new system in place. From what I see, the workflow is not optimised, app is not user friendly and clearly not in sync with their clinic and staff n doc seems to be at a loss on how to deal with the buggy system . being in the clinic twice, I have heard of alot of frustrations and synchronisation issues with the mobile app. Once bitten, twice shy. Will no longer visit this clinic again.

β β β β β My mother in law had to wait for 5 hours at the clinic. She's almost 80 and clinic has the cheek to tell us we could have download the app and make E appointments. So in short, queue management sucks. Even Hai Di Lao restaurant only save 50% of their capacity for reservations and the rest are for walk ins. Best is we witnessed another customer flaring up with the staffs there. What can I say.. You can have the best education but still lack common sense.
Reply: No, your staff did not ask her to go back. You even said that because her mobile contact is not in your system and she can't go back. And when you found that her number was inside your system after we insisted you check. You gave another excuse that because she waited outside the clinic and did not hear her number being called. Its not just bad service, I question your integrity now.

β β β β β I only go to this clinic since it's downstairs and convenient but I always regret going there.
Today, I was having a terrible headache and I decided not to travel further since my headache was really bad and the sun was really hot. I walked into the clinic and there were 2 people at counter. The older lady staff was registering a foreign domestic worker to see the doctor and the younger male staff was dispensing medicine. When the younger male was done, I went up to him to say "I want to see the doctor" and he asked for my IC. I gave it to him and about a minute later, he looked at me and said "I cannot register for you, I need to dispense medicine." So I was made to queue and wait for the older lady to finish with her registration before she can help me register. After about 5 minutes of standing there, she was done registering for the foreign domestic worker and I stood in front of her computer to wait for her to tie up the last bits of the registering. I stood there for another 5 minutes without anyone caring about me, like I was invisible. During this 10 minutes of waiting, the younger male did not even dispense any medicine to a single person and yet he could not register for me. After 15 minutes in the clinic, I just walked out as my headache was getting worse and I proceeded to another clinic nearby.
This is not the first time the service given is substandard. I used to call and make an appointment but recently the younger male staff refuses to give phone/whatsapp appointments to me too. A few months ago, I called to make an appointment to see the doctor as I was having food poisoning and I had to go to the toilet to relief myself every few minutes. I explained to him to help me make an appointment and let me know before hand so that I did not have to go to the clinic to wait but he told me that there were no patients and I could go down immediately. When I went there about 5 minutes after I hung up, there were 2 patients waiting and soon enough another person who made an appointment came in. I waited for 40mins with a terrible stomachache without being able to go to the toilet.
I would really appreciate a bit more empathy from the clinic staff in this clinic.
Anyway customer service aside, medical care is also not the best. I've received a wrong diagnosis before from this clinic and had to see another doctor again due to the unresolved problems and a third to confirm the diagnosis since I had two very different diagnosis. The other 2 doctors I saw gave the same but very different diagnosis from the doctor in this clinic.By the way, it was a dermatological issue and the doctor who saw me has a diploma in dermatology.
So, all in all, if I could give them no stars I would. Go there only if you would like to:
1. Be treated like you are transparent.
2. If you want to get substandard medical care.

β β β β β I was refferred by doctor to do swap test. On the phone the clinic staff told me that I have to do the swap on the same day. However the correct info is within 24hrs. Not only that cz I want to verify the info and saying that to hang off the phone to check with my doctor. The staff don't want to hang off the phone and keep saying rubbish.

β β β β β Terrible system waiting to see the Dr. And this isnβt our first experience. My daughter & I were given 9.12am appointment time on their MaNaDr app.
9.12am came and went, with a few patients still ahead of us. The clinic assistant said she could call us when itβs our turn, so we went home.
When the call came, we walked over to the clinic, only to be told the Dr had rescheduled our appt to past 10am.
Iβm not feeling well, too tired to argue. Iβd already walked over twice. Told them Iβll go to another clinic.
My helper had similar experiences when she came on her own and with my daughter in the past year.
The clinic is in a great location to serve residents. Pity the waiting system isnβt good, even after a few years here. Headed to Waterway Point for clinics instead.

β β β β β If i could do a review with 'Zero' stars this would be it!! I will never step foot into this clinic again. Dr Teoh ( female doctor)has an obnoxious attitude. Very rude and nasty. No patients and had to wait at least 15 mins to see her. The way she handled the situation is terrible. I would rather take a 15 min drive to my family GP at Seletar mall and wait 3 hours to see the doctor there then to ever come again to Punggol Ripples Clinic out of convenience. I feel a great sense of sympathy for the nurses/administration staff working with her at the clinic. My admiration to the 2 lady staff there.
