Super gentle, patience and explained every steps clearly.
I am Dentophobia (odontophobia) and I overcame wisdom tooth extraction under local anesthetic.

β β β β β Although the clinic states that they did that procedure on their website, but Dr Chang Weai refuse to do it and he mentioned that he don't do it for all patients but only do it selectively when he feel he wants it. Oh well, how good can this doctor be right? A doctor should treat all patients but not treat selective patients and only base on what he likes to do.
Probably all those positive reviews about him are his regular patients, I am not his regular patients therefore he don't do the procedure for me? In conclusion, Dr Chang Weai is not a good doctor.

β β β β β Dr Chang is the reason why we kept going back to this clinic. A few years back, he referred my gal to seek hospital treatment timely for her lung infection condition and we've been going back to see him as a family GP ever since. I don't live within walking distance to this clinic, but every time when we have a sick family member, we will not hesitate to drive to see Dr Chang. Dr Chang is usually very careful and patient and very willing to explain the illness properly to us. As for the other comment on the counter staff, I haven't really encountered rudeness from the counter staff but I do think they can be a little more professional at times.

β β β β β Would recommend this clinic for Dr Ahmad. He is very precise in his diagnosis, super patient and easy to talk to. I recovered within a day with the medication he gave.

β β β β β The clinical assistant , March, was rude and lazy. I was at the clinic, 2 patients were waiting. I used my handphone to dial the clinic nos. ,just to test out whether she would answer the call. She did not answer the call, she put the clinic ringing tone to mute tone. I saw her using her own personal device to do online shopping.

β β β β β Clinic not spacious, limited seats. Share space between medical & dental. I like to appraise Dr Ahmad Syahmi for being a very patient & assuring doctor during consultation. Especially when he takes time to explain what is the function of the medicine he prescribed.

β β β β β Saw Dr Ahmad today for my blood test today. He's not only skillful, the needle insertion wasn't painful at all, but also extremely patient and took time to explain different aspects of the blood test. It was a pleasant experience overall even though the receptionist was a little clueless and tried to discharge me before everything was done.

Really bad experience. The receptionists were horrible! I called to ask about the queue (cos I have a sprained ankle, don't want walk there for nothing) - the receptionist answered the call and rudely responded "4 people, we very busy so want see doctor please come", and IMMEDIATELY hung up. I had to call back for my other inquiries!
When I'm there, I asked the receptionist to check if my insurance card is working and if it will be accepted. She "checks" and said yes, so I queued for an hour. Later, when it'll be my turn next, suddenly they tell me my card not accepted/working. So they lied to me that they checked?? That's extremely unprofessional, and it's not hard to check! Just enter my mobile number into the system!
After I've seen the doctor, they needed to give me both my receipt and x-ray form. They gave me my receipt, didn't give me my x-ray form. I forgot so I left the clinic and came back within 10 seconds, found that they just left it on the table (previously wasn't there). 0 verbal calls, 0 mobile calls. So if I didn't recall, they would just leave it there?!
Honestly the receptionists should be fired. Unprofessional, no respect for patient's time, and I also overheard them gossiping about another patient's conditions.
No comments about the doctor (Dr David Chan) as the interaction was minimal. But he didn't simply disregard my condition and jumped to x-ray, it was the most pleasant part of the visit.

Update as I had to call the clinic today regarding x-ray. I was told that the x-ray would be billed to GP so that my insurance can pay, but at the polyclinic I was told it's marked as pay by cash and that the GP is not partnered with the polyclinic.
The receptionist (met her on 18 May, young girl, 5/5 star) who picked up my call was helpful and polite, got back to me very quickly too. I'm not sure if it's the same receptionist, but the tone and phrasing was infinitely better today.
Maybe we have to roll the dice with our receptionists
