★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the Raffles Garden back in early March before the lockdown. This garden is one of the many gardens inside Fort Canning Park and named after the eponymous founder of Singapore. Appropriately, there is a nautical theme with a replica of a naval flagstaff and the Fort Canning Lighthouse, both in the garden. The garden is not extensive, but is beautifully landscaped with flowers that Raffles encountered during his travels through South East Asia. The Flame-of-the-Forest tree is especially pretty it's red flowers were in full bloom.
