Shake Farm

Ordered at 7pm. Its 8.30pm now and still not yet ready. Called their number but can't get through at all. Disappointing experience. I do not recommend to order from them unless you have more than 2 hours to wait, or worse, 3 hours or more.

I like Shake Farm on Telok Ayer but please do not order from this outlet on Grab. I did not receive my food and there was no way to contact the merchant. Grab was also helpless because they couldn’t contact the merchant as well. Total disaster.

If there is Zero Stars, this review would be zero stars. Ordered from Grab, after 3 hours I am still waiting for the food to arrive. Please do not order from this store on Grab.. I tried to called then more than 10 times, no one answers the call. What a bad experience. IF you do not have the capability to supply to the demand, please dont then.

Ordered theough grab and waited almost 2 hrs for the delivery of dinner due to large order and shop own delivery fleet problem. I'm okay if the shop cannot handle orders but should take initiative to cancel it. When I called to check the status of my order, was told then delivery will arrive in 10mins but after 30mins there was no sight of food. And when I called back, I was given explanation that there were 400 over orders and they couldn't contact their delivery person. As much as the staff try to resolve, but at the end I was 'scolded' by one of their staff to ask to me to understand their business operations, which I think was the last straw for me and for me to leave this review. If you can't manage operations, don't open for delivery. Even when they couldn't handle the orders, they are still opening for orders on the app when I checked. Oh and if you think that food is worth that wait, no it isn't. Portion is very small with that price charged, compared to other places that offer the same dishes. And rather than having zucchini noodles, i got carrot strips. I'm not sure if the restaurant know what are they preparing. We should support business in such times but definitely not business that are not honest.

In actual fact: 0/5 stars. Sunday 26 September 2021 - Ordered delivery on GrabFood app at 12 pm. With an estimated delivery time of about 35~50 minutes, was definitely okay with the estimation, give or take, 1 hour to get to us. TLDR its now 1.11 PM, with the food still STUCK in kitchen. Tried to call the restaurant multiple times i.e. 10 times, no pick up as well. As we really just want to know if they are even preparing the food, as we do not want to cancel if the team has already prepared the food. But no response. If you can't fulfil the order within stipulated hours (1 hour+++++ in the kitchen), perhaps close the store on GrabFood like how other vendors do during peak hours, to prevent such issues from happening? Saw other reviews with similar experiences so far. This is so so so disappointing, given that we actually like the food, but delivery is atrocious, who even takes 1 hour+++++ to work on it at the kitchen upon CONFIRMATION, should have not accepted it right? Ridiculous. It's someone family meal you are talking about. Turn of events, we can't even cancel the order in Grab application because the food was already confirmed by Shake Farm lol.

DO NOT ORDER. Would give this restaurant 0 if I could. I have been ordering from the Grab platform during weekday lunches with no issues. Orders were delivered within the time-frame and restaurant no. was contactable during these times. However, it was different when I ordered this evening during a weekend. Order didn't arrive 2.5 hours later, and restaurant was uncontactable. Driver marked the order as being delivered ahead of their delivery while I had already launched a complaint with Grab. Will not be ordering from this outlet again.

The food is delicious, healthy and fun. Shake Farm has a lot of sub brands on Deliveroo like Bang Bang Burrito, Keto bowl, RostiBoy, and I used to order from them frequently, until I found a metal staple in one of the burritos.The staple was in the burrito so I nearly ate it. I opened a case with Deliveroo, who claims they passed the info (pictures and description) to the restaurant so the restaurant could investigate, but the restaurant never got back to me. Since then I have not dared to eat from Shake Farm or any of its sub brands on Deliveroo. The metal staple could have injured inner organs or leached metal into the body if swallowed. Food safety is paramount. Eat at own risk, or chew very very carefully. I posted this same review on the Shake Farm main outlet. Owner replied with assumption that the metal staple was on external plastic bag. The metal staple was IN one of the ingredients in the burrito. I bit into the staple when chewing. If the staple had really been on the external plastic bag like the owner assumed, it couldn't possibly have gotten into the burrito because the burrito was still protected by another box. The staple couldn't possibly have gotten past the box containing the burrito, and then into the burrito itself. Owner should have asked for details instead of assuming.
