Shaw Theatres NEX - 23 Serangoon Central

Tried Premiere for the first time. Seats are okay, comfortable enough. Blanket is soft and comfortable too. There's no light for your food so you will be eating in the dark. Food wise - we ordered 1. chicken sausage arrabbiata with penne considering linguine would be more difficult, 2. platter that consist of spring roll, samosa, fried wing, 3. truffles fries and 4. mushroom soup. The best would be their platter esp fried wings because it is cripsy and juicy followed by truffle fries. The rest are quite disappointing. Mushroom soup is very diluted with no mushroom flavor. Like drinking mushroom flavored water. Pasta feels like frozen food made hot however taste is still acceptable and tasty. Overall experience is okay, it would be good if the quality of food can be improved.

Shaw Nex is within walking distance to my home. So it is my go-to cinema. Moreover, they have the lowest senior citizen price. Sound and comfort are fine. Great.

Love watching during weekdays. Less humans. Spacious and great popcorn and there's coke zero!! Good service esp the cleaning crew?

Premiere seating was spacious with blankets provided. Snacks & drinks can ne ordered with the vouchers that come with the movie tickets. Silver coloured tickets are impressive. Update : Premiere still worth it for a nice movie with complimentary $8 voucher to get a drink and/or snack to go along.

Overall the experience is really good and enjoyed the movie, and request the management try not to disturb the customers when watching movie by entering into theatre area to check they mask up or not. Yesterday 8-6-2022 11.40pm Vikram show. By checking this, some point we already missed the scenes, kindly take note of this. ‼️‼️

Regarding privilege experience. It's not worthy. Service and caring is not good. Food is overrated and just edible, better you bring your own. Seats are comfy but we expected a bigger screen. They need to improve a lot.

The staff was v helpful in solving my ticketing issue today. Everyone else was v helpful too. Thank you, guy in white shirt who serve us this morning, 13May2022. Very thankful to meet great service providers. The seats and service for premier theater was fantastic too.

Really comfortable seats here with moderate air-conditioning (not too cold as previous). Seat is of course much more spacious now with social distancing in place (I really like my own space when enjoying a movie). The leg room between each row is also very adequate to prevent others from kicking your seat and also to allow others to squeeze through much easily. Range of timings were very good as well, large options to pick from and also premier theatre is available if you are ready to pamper yourself! Ushers were also very polite, efficient and pleasing. They also play a huge role in the entire customer experience for the movie-goers at cinemas so real kudos to them - from the staff at the main entrance to check on our safe entries, to the ticketing counter, popcorn cashier, and cleaners or safe distancing ambassadors. Overall, cinema was very clean, easy to navigate and the seats are comfortable (a few of my top priorities when it comes to selecting a cinema). Nex is very accessible also via Serangoon MRT or by buses. This is on the fourth floor (#04-64) of the shopping mall, right at the corner and nearby Popular Bookstore and 7-11 convenience store.
