Shi Li Fang Hot Pot @ KINEX - 11 Tanjong Katong Rd

Long queue during meal times. The restaurant is very busy but staffs still do their best to provide good service. Kudos to the manager of this branch, he is so patient and helpful. Cheap, decent quality hotpot. Tasty soup base. Attractive set, reasonably priced (about $35 for 2 u can eat until super full, but not much meat). Overall a good experience, but don't expect Beauty in a Pot/HDL standards ok they are of different leagues.

Authentic chicken broth soup without adding MSG. Fresh food ingredients and very economical! Their house made sesame sauce is super delicious and I never could find it anywhere else. Sadly they do not sell it. When you crave for hotpot but you don’t have a lot of people to go with,this is definitely a place to go for simple delicious meal. It is more hygienic to have a small pot by yourself then sharing the pot with others though. They give free toys if you would like to take . Friendly and attentive service crews. I enjoyed the environment when it’s not crowded because it used to get really really busy ! Price per person $12-15

Reasonable price for ordinary hotpot. There are different sets to choose. The ingredients were good, fresh vegetables. Soup base also good but full of msg taste. The good thing is they refill the soup base but not water. Just the interior is a lit Low end with many soft toys on the wall as well as printed tables. Overall it is acceptable.

Staff is friendly. Food is good. Sauce options are many. I like the pickled vegetables soup. I am not really sure what the decoration is trying to be, but it does not matter. If music was a bit less loud it would be even better.

Not much customers here but since never try before so just walk in to try. Now got 50% promotion for all ala charte but overall price still above average. Promo set might be cheaper for 2 pax but might not have the things you like it. Every item here is chargeable, sauce, wet tissue not dont have small dishes as haidilao. Even though drinks are all refillable but limit in selection too. Just a few group of customers but their service is not as good as it suppose to be. One of the waiter named James, his attitube not so good as it we ask to refill drinks, he just leave and ask us to wait. We order 1 more plane of dish then half an hour also the dish never came, we need to ask for 2nd round. When we make payment, he asked if we got use sauce or wet tissue, we were wonder why he can't just go and check himself than questioning us without patience. After the payment, there are many broucher in the shop saying that every table entitle to one free toy/item and stamp collected can redeem something from the shop. Once again, no one else there we could check with so we ask the cashier again. But he is not that patience again and reply us, yes, every table are entitle to 1 free toy/free gift. The next moment he told me that, we really feel like they are unwilling to give all these even they place all the broucher here and there. All staff won't remind you there is a free gift or anything and they don't feel like wanna reply to you even if you ask. It makes us really feel sick. Overall, I don't think I will come back again. Better go Haidilao to enjoy the service. Maybe we can even pay cheaper for same food as well.

Value for money hotpot spot. Beef, chicken and fish were all well marinated and delicious. Tom yum base was spicy, so get a non spicy base to balance it out. Solid offering, though I'd prefer if they charge less instead of offering gimmicks like soft toys. Also, minus one ? for the constant high pitched noise from the air vents at this outlet (May 2022).

Hot Pot / Steamboat Place . 2 years plus since I have dine in Shi Li Fang (other branch) This Restaurant in KaiNEX is clean and tidy … although a lot of diners, they still maintain general cleanliness of the restaurant. Staff is helpful and courteous. Fast response. Food is Good … Fresh and in Good Size Portion.
