Soon Lee Medical Clinic

I went to Soon Lee Clinic before the departure PCR test for a trip to Taiwan. Usually, once they received the result they sent by e-mail, but on April 7, I took the PCR and did not receive the result until April 8 afternoon. I tried to contact them via 2 landline phone numbers, 1 WhatsApp number of about 2 hours and also emailed them no response. Finally, I went to the clinic and asked them why not respond to my calls, they said very cool at the clinic not enough manpower. I went to the clinic in less than two minutes, got a message, emailed the entire automated system was working, they just have the key in my IC number..

I come clinic at 830 for my medical. The registration was all done very fast. And one of the Malay lady told me I can take blood first when dr come but I need to wait till 1030 for xray. So she ask me go eat or drink first. I came back at 1030. I waited till 1130 and my xray was still not done. The Malay lady apologised to me. I wasn’t angry at her but the fact that I had to wait since 830 till almost 12 just for an thing that only 5 mins done?

Damn lousy experience! Waiting time is crazy!!!!! Get a queue no 6 at 850am and you only get to see the doctor after 12noon!!!!! Unless you hv plentiful of time that you dont know where to spend then go ahead. Else won't recommend this clinic at all! Staff inexperience, provide incorrect information on doctor's presence and no idea of estimation time to wait. No digital queue nos to tell where you are in the queue. Thus no transpancy of your queue at all. So happy waiting! Update: so apparently all the poor guys waited more than 3hrs and still not seen the doctor. And the indian nurse over the counter just say who ever cannot wait, just go to other clinic!!! Seriously! I went to counter and talked to the indian nurse and she threw me a name card saying not happy go complaint to her boss. Which I did, and the indian boss was as horrible!!! He said he is not entertaining me. Now i know why the staff attitude are that horrible bec all follow the boss!!!Seriously for someone sick n feeling well. Waited more than 3hrs you expect that person still sane! Only a helpful malay lady try to comfort me and understand my situation!!! I will definitely say close this clinc! Don't bother even you hv the time to spare! If I can post a video can even share the other poor chaps arguments on their queues and wait time too! For info the boss's name card is SBM travel and tour!!! For hell seek what he know about healthcare!!!!

I went down today @ around 1.40pm. Understand they were out for lunch until 2pm, so no problem I just waited till then. 2pm comes around and I go in, was the first in line and having flu symptoms, they told me to go into this isolation room (glass windows) despite being first in line, i only got swabbed @ 2.40pm. after which, i waited until 3.30pm to consult the doctor. in between, i went to ask the counter staff on when could i go in to see the doctor and was rudely told that she doesn’t know and i should go and ask the doctor myself. dr chan was the doctor whom i consulted and she was not polite as well when i told her my symptoms. she lifted my shirt as well to check my lungs in the dr’s room and i was highly confused as i never had to lift my shirt? this is very unprofessional. dr chan told me that she had to check me in the dr’s room as there were men in the GLASS isolation room. definitely would have gotten my lungs checked there if there wasn’t anyone in the room. TL;DR : extremely long waiting time, rude and unprofessional staff.

Worst ever people I’ve seen in my life. They’ve been acting like robots when come to the closing the clinic (on time closing), but while working, turtles can beg to see their work style. It is nothing but wasting everyone’s precious time. No humanity, no kindness, not treating patients well, etc., etc., Shouldn’t have given even 1 star, but there’s no option to give less than zero.

Went in around 8.50am and asked if they did the ART test. I was unwell. Gave the lady at the counter my letter from the doctor. She told me to wait. Subsequently, I asked if they would do the test and how much longer I had to wait. After 40mins, the clinic staff came in and told me the doctor does not do the protocol 2 and asked me to go somewhere else. No apologies, no nothing. This clinic's management needs to work on their communications to staff. I went early as I did not want to have the queue piled up. Now I am stuck and most clinics are packed because I spent a good 40mins waiting.

Do pre-departure PCR test, call 1 day in advance for the test but was told no booking is required. Just visit the clinic 48hrs before depart. I was worried for few nights coz pcr process seems scary. After the procedure felt that I was overly worried. Will return to this clinic for the same test when return when completed my SHN. The nurse who do pcr is a professional???

the worst clinic staff and doctor ever seen the doctor Chan Yat Chun asked me to flip over my t-shirt to examine my lungs inside a clear glass room named "isolation room" just beside the street where everybody walks by. first of all, examine lungs never require someone to filp over a shirt to expose themselves second, how can you ask a female patient to expose in a glass room?????????? this is so ridiculous and horrifying to experience I will definitely raise a formal complaint to SMC and CASE
