Y	Yingying on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was good. Wide selection of food. Try out their seafood! It's good. Dessert such as cakes and other pastries are available as well. Overall good experience with Straits Cafe!
A	Alfred L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not too bad spread of western and asian dishes. Being one with a sweet tooth (teeth?) - I'd focus on the desserts. The selections are not too bad. There is at least some effort shown in not just offering the usual options, as seen in the ice cream range - which included black sesame, tiramisu instead of the usual vanilla, chocolate, strawberry suspects. I was quite taken by the lychee bandung cake as well! The green bean soup was tasty as well. Not impressed by the durian pengat though. Merchant Court's offering is much better with generous bits of durian flesh. Tip! You may save on your parking if you purchase a $5 carpark coupon from the cashier. I only learnt of this later after I left the carpark with a $9.80 charge.
W	Wen Kang Tang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went on a Monday night. There's very little people around. However, the staff were really nice and helpful, recommending their best dishes around. They have a wide range of durian pastries for their dinner buffet, which are pretty unique.

Local Laksa and grill fish is yummy, a bit disappointed is why hotel buffet serving fish with bone and use the rusty jar to serve maple syrup.

I like the Cakes and Kuey station. Laska is abit sweet, restaurant can consider adjust abit. Staff are friendly. I will go there again should there be a 1 for 1 promo.

Highlights include: Salmon and tuna sashimi Fresh oysters Prawns and crabs Chilli crayfish Laksa Jellyfish salad Rojak Kueh pie tie Ice cream (green tea, coconut, tiramisu, yam etc) Durian pangat and other durian desserts Assortment of kuehs Quality of food is fantastic, the variety may not be wide, but it’s definitely more than enough. Would definitely come back again! Tip: as mentioned by others in the post, do purchase a flat $5 parking coupon from the restaurant, if not you will get a shock at the parking rates here. Alternatively just park nearby with cheaper options. Buffet timing from 1130 till 3pm, love the late buffet times. Came at 1pm and there was enough seats and no hassling needed to get my food. Service was wonderful and polite as well.
C	Cherine Chan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ food exceed expectations! seafood was fresh (staff cut the lobster for us, and provided scissors for us to cut the crab open) local delights were on point with sambal seafood and veg fried on the spot for you, laksa, kueh pie tie, rojak etc . desserts were amazing as well, had a range of durian selections and interesting cake and ice cream flavours!! really loved it. special mention to the staff working on 10 dec night as they even prepared a slice of cake with deco as i was celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and sang a birthday song for him :) cleared plates fast and provided good service as well thank you for the memorable night. p.s super worth the price if u use the entertainer app
