Pork cut is a bit on the tendon side. Beef is perfect. The Service is good, they can grill for you and cut into bite size. But the exhaust can be better. Choose sitting outdoor if weather permits.

Really tasty and authentic Korean BBQ! Soups were great too! Place can get really smoky and clothes will smell. They dun provide free lettuce though ?. Overall great place to chill with friends and family!

Had the Pork Platter, Special Beef Platter and Kimchi Stew. To be honest, they had disappointing service; worst part was how the waitress cooking the meats did it like stir fry beef/pork instead of the usual flipping of meats one by one. As a result, a lot of the meats ended up unevenly cooked and some even over cooked (spotted her cutting out the burnt parts of the meats/mushrooms) ? If we wanted a stir fry meat dish, we would’ve gone to a Chinese restaurant. Will not recommend and will not be back.

Great service! Their bbq marinated beef was out of this world! Nice spicy kim chi stew (could be spicier in my opinion). Will be back!

Service is decent, though if you’re sat outside (which is recommended cos it can get very smelly inside) it’s difficult to get the attention of staff. The table set up at Kimildo is really interesting and the various condiments and banchan are delish. Love the different ways of enjoying your KBBQ meats. The meats were not bad, we enjoyed the marinated short rib best. Best to make a reservation as they get quite busy.

Reservation was made and staff will call you on the day of reservation at about 2 hours prior to confirm. There is a 90-minutes limit per table but we ended up completing our dinner in just one hour. There's options for pork course or beef course so we chose both. Limited menu does help to minimize time lost by pondering too long. Haha. Next, the staff assigned to our table cooks in such a fast and furious pace that the cooking video seemed to have fast forwarded but it isn't. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the meat especially the beef. The meat course came with gyeran jjim, few dipping sauce, pickled leaves, radish and kimchi. Beer goes for about $12 per bottle. After the meal, one won't feel overly full unless you're a very small eater.

Went there during lunch timing but the restaurant was empty by the time we started eating. Service: Staff were extremely impatient and rude. Firstly, they only open up one grill for 6 pax, when ask politely if they can open up another grill for us to speed up the cooking process, we were treated with many looks of disgusts followed by their unwillingness. Please correct me if I’m wrong but I thought it’s normal to open up 2 grills when 2 tables are fully occupied ? They sure make it look like we’re a real hassle to them. Additionally, we were unsure of a dish that were served to us as it was supposed to come with rice (written on the menu) but we were given a noodle dish instead. So, we asked the staff but she frowned her face and looked super annoyed and said β€œthe rice is inside already” She meant the very few grains in the noddle dish. This makes the menu super misleading and the staff clearly doesn’t like it when you have questions regarding the dishes. Food: Prices are a bit steep and the meat quality is just okay, however some of the meat can be quite tough (not sure if it’s the way the staff cooked it or it’s just naturally tough) Kimchi stew is yummy but very very small portion. In fact, most dishes comes in a very small portion. Overall: This place is a hard no. Personally, I will never visit again, the experience was horrible because of the service. For the entire dining duration, I just want to quickly finish up my food so that I can leave the restaurant. In short, there are really many more affordable options with better quality meats and services. P.s. I think you can also tell by the empty tables during weekends lunch hour ?

They cook the food well and the cocaine sauce (looks spicy but isn’t) is great. Tried pork belly, pork shoulder, and beef short rib - recommend pork belly. Goes well with the white kimchi, maybe better than lettuce. Cold noodles are springy and refreshing. Complimentary steamed egg was a nice surprise.
