The best sushi buffet. Yes the rice is a lot but what do you expect for the price?? The Chef is quite funny and friendly, the female assistant sometimes has RBF, the seats are few and can only pay by nets. But the sushi is damn good, especially the aburi. Always bring my family and friends to eat here.

Favourite place for omakase sushi, fish is fresh, service is great and location is superb. Even with the pandemic, my heartfelt thanks go to the chef who tirelessly prepares each sushi with heart.

Service was fast, food was good and customizable to your preference. Both Service Staff and Chef/Owner was very friendly had the local vibes in them yet authentic Japanese hospitality in downtown Orchard. They are stuck in a quiet old shopping mall (International Plaza) at the Orchard Road shopping belt and it would be hard to locate them if you were just bypassing. Do give them a ring to reserve your seating few days before heading over as due to safe distancing, seats are pretty limited. Would suggest coming for the weekday sushi buffet as the prices are cheaper.

For $43.90++ on a weekend lunch, you get an all-you-can-eat sushi counter experience. It is somewhat omakase style as the chef will serve you sushi of his choice, but you are free to order from a menu as well. 5 stars because of great value-for-money and variety. I easily had 20 different pieces of sushi. Quality of sushi is reasonable for the price, there were a few misses but the aburi sushi was really good. As noted by many, the lady assistant is not the most service-oriented but you don't need to interact much with her. Service might be a bit slow if the restaurant is full but there's no time limit so just relax and enjoy your meal. They also do serve some appetisers together with sashimi before sushi, from what I understand, it's optional. Do make reservations especially on weekends as seats are limited.

Sushi was served omakase style. Chef was good, though service was a little slow when they serve one sushi at a time. The waitress was really rude especially to group of friends.

Well hidden gem restaurant in belts of Orchard. Cosy and comfortable place to have buffet dinner. Food is freshly prepared and served to your plate. Each sushi is crafted on spot Love their aburi sushi especially. Had appetisers of edamame, salad, Oden, chanwanmushi, sashimi, bamboo shoots (1 serving each). Sushi options can be arranged by chef / by request. A definitely recommend place where you can have omasake at an affordable price. Was full house when I went. Reservations recommended. Chef is very experienced. Both chef and staff attentive and service oriented.

5 stars for the fresh fish and sweet tasty rice. Almost minus one star for curt service and cramped interior, but once you get to know the chef and server, they start warming up and become friendlier. Weekday lunch sushi buffet at sgd35.9, good value. Do note that it is not a sashimi buffet, it is a sushi buffet - every slice of fish comes with rice. They only have counter seats but was able to give me the corner seat so I could put my 5 month old in stroller near me. Red tuna (maguro) was fresh and not fishy at all, even better than some sgd100 omakase that I've tried elsewhere. White tuna w butter (shiro maguro) had a good bite to it and smelled really fragrant. All salmon sushi were awesome, especially salmon belly, salmon mentai aburi and salmon mentai maki - most melt in your mouth, others with cucumber and mayo have a mouthwatering crunch and tang to them. Chawanmushi was bland and so was complimentary soup. Dessert was jelly w nata de coco in various flavours that tasted pretty standard. We'll be back.

The worst buffet dining experience we've had in Singapore. A dishonest joint. You will regret going here. Very very very slow service. It will take you more than a hour to get your first plate of sushi. The server is quite rude, and unfortunately serves 10 patrons seated in the counter. Not a pleasant dining experience for two hours. The worst dining experience we've had in Singapore. We ended leaving after 90 minutes and did not even finish the course. I'd even take the one star away and give no stars to Sushi Kanazawa. Horrible experience.
