Bee hoon has room for improvement.

Lor mee is good. Go with chilli. Ingredients are adequate covered by light but flavourful broth.

Prices are reasonable and the Putian fried bee hoon is freshly fried on order however the taste is far from the famous restaurant chain.

Lor mee was watery and bland. Pork trotter mee sua was uncooked. Owner told us it’s like that but the middle of the noodles is white with floury taste and crispy texture. (Can see from the pictures left side noods is cooked but right side is raw) Needless to say, we threw everything away and ate something else instead.

Had the Pu Tian Lor Mee. Delicious bowl of noodles with prawns, clams, some pork pieces and veggies. Tasty soup and portion was generous for only $3.50! Peanuts provided a nice crunch and found a couple of pieces of pork lard in the soup :) Doesn't taste as good as Putien restaurant but it's good for a stall in the hawker center. Will be back to try the Xing Hua beehoon which I see several people around have ordered.

Patronised Pu Tien Delights inside Gourmet Paradise, get $6.50 Pu Tien beehoon, really dissapointed with the portion, of thin beehoon, 2 small pieces of vanamae prawn, cut veges, and the rest is yam. Photo is deceitful. Never come back again. Be very careful.

This is my favourite stall to go to for Putian food. I see it as a cheaper alternative to the restaurant that sells the same type of cuisine. I got myself a Putian Lor Mee ($4.80 for small). You get two prawns, a few clams, some pieces of shredded meat, beancurd and vegetables. I like the broth because it has a somewhat sweet taste to it, and does not taste salty. I also had the stir fried yam ($7 for small) which I would recommend too.

Given a try for Pu Tien food in a hawker stall. After taste of the fried bee hoon $5 is ready disappointed. Bland and no to the standard of Pu Tien style. Can't ready spot much veggies in it. The kailan with beancurd $6 also can't make it. Will not go for second try. Rather opt for other Zhichar stalls.
