Horfun full of wok hei and covered generously with thick gravy containing visible pieces of egg. The vegetables were fresh and the meat and seafood were of thick cuts. Really premium quality. Very value for money at $5. Queues are usually short as the 2-3 man team serve customers very quickly. Remember to add the fried pork lard.

Indeed living up to its name as โ€œhor fun premiumโ€. I was around the area and wanted to get a hot hor fun fixed as it was a rainy day. Stumbled upon this stall by chance and glad that I did! I ordered their beef hor fun at $5. It was a reasonable price considering that they hailed themself as premium. Their beef was tender and fresh. And the kway teow had the wokhei (smoked) taste in every bite! The portion is also very generous. Would be nice if they had more vegetables though. Extra tip: you might want to add the pork lard just for fun ? I saw many ordering the prawn paste chicken wings. Thus, will give that and mui fun a try next time!

Very good hor fun with work hei, one can literally smell the smokiness while queuing up for it! Prawn paste chicken wings were well seasoned without being overpowering, remained crispy even when we packed it home! Will be back!

The best hawker Char Hor Fun comparable to the best served in Chinese restaurants in town. At $5.00, you get a fairly generous portion of Hor Fun. The fish in our Fish Hor Fun was firm while the Hor Fun was silky with a good dash egg gravy. Located at Alexandra Village Food Centre, Hor Fun Premiumโ€™s proprietor, Leo started cooking at a Zhi Char stall at the age of 17 before starting Hor Fun Premium in 2015. Stall accepts QR Pay.

Arrived at 12.30pm and queued for around 20 minutes. Ordered the Beef Hor Fun (Flat Rice Noodles) which seems to be the most popular although they have Mixed Hor Fun, Mui Fan as well Pork Ribs Rice and Beef with Sliced Ginger Rice. For $5.50, you get a decent plate of Hor Fun with about 6 slices of marinated beef. The hor fun itself is a wonder. Talk about wok heat, this one eminates a smoky aroma up to the very last mouthful. There is a certain chewiness in the noodles not found easily in other stalls. The gravy itself is light, with taste of soya and stock. The one disappointment was the pickled green chilli which was more salty than sour and didnโ€™t pack not a lot of heat. Still I am happy to declare this is the best hor fun I have had in a long long time.

I call this as one of the best horfun I've had in Singapore. First of all, they specialise in only a few items on their menu, unlike the usual zhichar restaurants, so they prepare it fast like a well-oiled machine. The horfun is wokheyed by another chef in the back, with billowing smoke coming out of the wok. That sight is a good sign of good things to come. The gravy is prepared quickly but has well bodied and balanced taste and the ingredients are always fresh. The Har Cheong Gai is also amazingly crispy, tender and juicy. Not overly oily unlike some zhichar places. Please try. It's very good and worth the price.

Searching for food at this famous hawker and chance upon this stall. Some mixed reviews of it so gave it a try. Agree that there is nice wok hei and overall the taste is good. The veg flavour was nice but it is a little tough, not sure if it is due to the type of veggie of it is a little "aged". Hor fun is enjoyable but I couldn't really feel the beef. They had used the "water" that was used to cook the fish to make it into the gravy which I felt that was a little "shortcut" taken which may have lead to a mixed taste. Nothing to rave about as there are nicer Tze Char that could do similar or better but of course at a slightly higher price too. Value for money but just don't expect it to be very nice :)
