Been visiting this shop for more than 8 years buying fish and supplies. Few days ago, I bought my kids 1st time to buy new fish. Shop auntie keep shouting at my kids even though she just seeing only. We in the shop for about 1 min and there is a customer come. So I ask the customer if he wanted to go in, he say no. 10 sec later, auntie shout at us say go away, customer want to go in. I told her, we are customer too. She keep repeating go away, customer want to go in. So i bring my kids left then she shout again, disturb only not buying. Who want buy from you giving this attitude. 3 min in the shop ruin my kid emotion suppose to be reward for new fish. This is not single incident, previous visit give me dying fish, I pointed out the dying fish. Auntie still argued say it is not. Enough is enough. Never visit this store again. The place always dirty. Fish is bad condition. Previous visit only convenient.

Very local fish shop situated within the market, closes at around 7pm on Saturday. Shop is operated by a very friendly auntie of elderly age. The fish variety is the usual. Clown loach prices as cheap as 2 dollars to 5 and 6 dollars for huge ones. Water of goldfish tanks are well maintained, not as clear though. The other tanks within the shop have very blurry water and the tanks are very super over stocked with Hardy fish, which made me hesitant to purchase. They also sell a broad range of feeder fishes such as frogs, guppies and shrimps. They have a small section of albino crayfish and small terrapins. These fishes seem OK to purchase.

Not even wanted to give him 1 star. Worst experience ever. Wanted to but a pump but not sure which type. Owner don’t even bother to explain. Ask me to go back take a picture and return. Like he doing multi million biz.

I really doubt the review written here. The uncle seller seems to have mental problem and should not run a business. He only serve the neighborhood and fake himself as friendly to them. I have not encounter a psycho seller except from this stall. If you are not the usual customer, don't go near them.

I happened to visit this shop recently in June 2021, after re-picking up my fish keeping hobby (used Google map to search for nearby fish shops). One more reason to love Singapore: no heater needed =) The shop owner is quiet, but nice (after interaction for several visits. [Initially, I also felt 'attitude' of the shop...]). The shop also have unique and special fish selling at very competitive price. E.g. large juvenile red spot and green severums at $3~5 only! From time to time, I saw there are small amount of exotic fish, at quite low price, e.g. 15 centimeters 'blue base' Frontosa fish. I am surely going to buy it from this shop when my arowana grows larger enough (continue reading to understand why). Surprisingly I found more than half of my show-case fish are from this store! (I am frequent visitor to many fish stores, especially those at Blk 328 Clementi). You need also have some working knowledge in identifying and selecting healthy fish. (I tend to agree with all other reviews of this shop. My opinion is that going to this shop is like wet market goers vs. supermarket goers analogy. Indeed, this shop is inside a wet market.) 2021 07 04: 1st pic. All four fish bought from this shop. $18 in total. (Price should be changing now, as I have seen all fish stores start to increase prices recently, likely due to, covid19, fewer international flights for importing, pushing price higher). 2021 08 04: 2nd pic. One month update. The four from this store are growing larger, especially the giant gourami. The rest three original cichlids are doing ok, as they are good at self defense. (Plus one aggressive Mayan cichlid, and one red shoulder severum I got elsewhere.) 2021 08 21: 3rd pic. Bravely bought one green/golden Asian arowana from this shop on this date (my very first >$10 fish. Lol). Currently it has been in a quarantine tank for about two weeks (still alive, and gaining weight, yeah). It had eaten my few neon tetra and shrimps, which I left in the tank as ditter fish initially. Now starting its training program to feed on commercial pellet food. (Update on 2021 09 01: it consumed its first meal of floating carnival pellets just now, two weeks patience only. Generally it's much easier to train pellet for very young fish =) Shop owner gave kind advice: baby arowana is sensitive to water condition. It may die in day(s) if your home aquarium water parameters and quality isn't suitable. For my day one, I used 20% cycled mature water from other established tank and 80% distilled pure water for safe. 2021 10 08: 4th pic. Tank upgrade for the baby arowana. Could you spot where it is? 2022 01 14: 5th pic. Another 3 months... Doing well. 2022 07 05: 6th pic. Another half a year...

Reasonably priced shop. They have some of the cheapest , simple fish tanks , pumps and fish etc. They don't hard sell their products and a bit laid back but I find them honest and don't try to cheat the customers. They don't have a huge collection of fish but still a good collection. Really worth giving a try. Better than some of the fancy shops that try to hard sell, intimidate customers.
