β β β β β Bought a few times from the Seletar Mall outlet, usually during evening time when the shop was attended by a guy who is friendly. However on this Sunday morning, the shop was attended by an auntie. Her attitude is pretty terrible. Before I even placed my order, she told me that I needed to wait for 10 mins. I said OK. Hearing that she could communicate in Madarin, I placed my order in Mandarin. Then suddenly she decided to speak in English and told me to order in their menu code. OK, so I looked at the menu and ordered using the code. After that, she spoke loudly and said you need to wait 10mins. Auntie, how many times do you need to repeat yourself for this 10mins thing like a broken recorder? If you dont feel like cooking, then just simply say so. You will feel better this way and you wont screw up other people mood as well, right? Bottom line, I will still go back for their porridge but I will definitely avoid this lady.

Priced around $5 and up, Ten Points Porridge serves Cantonese Porridge.
We tried their Signature Porridge which has a good amount of ingredients such as sliced fish, cuttlefish, pork ball, slice ball, scallops and more. The porridge was served warm and of very nice, silky texture.
But the sliced fish smell was too strong and the pork ball tasted like it was rolled around in salt before cooking. Good thing that there's only one pork ball in my porridge ?
The Youtiao is really bad. It is not crispy at all on the outside nor soft or have that chewy youtiao texture within. It was just nua, at least it wasn't rubbery but no. Just no.

β β β β β I love the signature porridge. Full of flavour and not too salty. One negative point is the Youtiao is not available when they just open the shop. Have to wait till 10am+

β β β β β Ordered the mala porridge on delivery. Surprised at how good it was, would order again. Not very spicy, more of the ιΊ». Seems like they added stock to ιΊ»θΎ£ gravy. 10/10 would order again. No clue about the normal porridge though.

β β β β β Order those porridges for the first time. It is ok if you donβt want to cook. Their meatball is good however the stir fried meat porridge is a bit too gravy and spicy to my taste

β β β β β Porridge is good , service staff OK, however the coffee never order from them...the coffee is sour , I never told the staff cuz I know is pointless also ..I believe that the coffee is there voiling too long and not much ppl order hence the coffee is sour ..if not will give 5 star

β β β β β Porridge is pretty good, servings are large enough that as a guy I feel quite full. We had the lean meat and century egg porridge, the ingredients were sufficient though I wish for more century egg. The you tiao wasn't too hard but absorbed the porridge and was chewy.
Only advice for gals is that two girls can usually share one set and feel full. We left with one bowl only half consumed. That said, I don't mind if the portions were reduced along with the price, but it's still worth it.
