Business operation issue: Operating time for clinic is 9.00am to 4.00pm. My son and I arrived at 8.40am to register. Was asked if I have made appointment and when I said no, we were asked to wait till 10.00am when doctor is in. So I asked if appointment is made, what's the timing to see doctor, TKC staff says 9.00am but appointment has to be made 1 to 2 weeks ago. Question: Am I supposed to predict that my son is or will be getting sick, then I make an appointment or my son is already sick, then I have to make appointment and wait 1 to 2 weeks to see the doctor?

Called in the morning to make an appointment but was told to walk in. The receptionist was very rude on the phone and didn't manage to ask more questions about the consultation fee and so as she wanted to end the conversation asap. It was our first time there and the waiting time was crazy and didn't know that we couldn't use CDA card at all! If your receptionist or nurses couldn't communicate well due to overwhelming patients, please keep your website info updated. It will be easier for new patients to find the information there and please do something with your queuing system too!

The doctor Is good and always work fast. Getting an appointment is very difficult and waiting time is very long. Staff (those working in the counters) can sometimes be rude and arrogant, especially the malay lady with the specs who is always 1 of the 3 staff working in the clinic. She can be very rude and insensitive. Have always noticed her giving attitude and telling off kids who are making noise without even understanding that they are kids and are not well. Once she told me to wait outside the clinic cos I was inside sitting down (another staff allowed me to wait with the baby while the staff were preparing to open clinic)

Dr Allyson is quite a good doctor but sadly my 3 encounters with front desk staff Natasha has been really terrible. She is always impatient, lack of listening skill, bad customer service and attitude. So often she just brushed away what I have to say and use the excuse that the doctor is very busy today. I am sure the doctor is always busy, in other clinics and hospitals as well, therefore it is her job to be calm, listen and organise, in order for the clinic to run smoothly and efficiently. First encounter was her picking up the call, she just said β€˜clinic is full today, we are very busy, you can go find another clinic.’ Until I asked how about walk-in? then only she said β€˜you can try but no promises.’ That’s the attitude you get when you have a very sick kid, with no sympathy. Another incident, she made me wait for an hour for a memo after I saw the doctor, guess what it was a wrong memo for my kid to do the COVID swap test. Not only the letterhead was wrong, it cause so much inconvenience as I have to wait for them to fax the correct one, waited for another hour plus in the testing centre with my sick kid due to the carelessness and couldn’t careless attitude. Guess what was worse, the printing on the paper was not clear, ink was low and I had more issues for my insurance application. Today I called again, Natasha used the same excuse that the doctor is very busy today when I told her I only need 5mins of the doctor’s precious time, regarding my insurance offer whenever she can make it. She said, β€˜definitely not today and you can wait for as long as a week for her to call you back.’ She hanged up of the phone abruptly without clarifying my details. She is should not be in a kids clinic nor front desk or picking up calls, has no or little passion in this job, bad personal skills. Due to all these unpleasant experiences, I urge you not to go to this clinic.

Unfair arrangement of appointment timeslots. Phone Line is always engaged and difficult to reach. Will always ended up getting lousy and inconvenient timeslots once the phone line is able to reach through. I am wondering if the Clinic or the group who is managing the clinic is too poor to setup additional phone lines to accomodate all patients to get their best available timeslots?

The doctors are nice and treat my son with care and remembered what happened to him the previous visit and give very sound advice. The assistants are simply overwhelmed due to the number of people coming in and out. Other than warning my toddler son not to jump on the weighing machine sometime: they treat us with respect and play with my son. I have learnt to expect half the day gone whenever I visit the clinic but my son is willing to go back and say hi to the doctors and assistants in subsequent visits (flu etc) and this is important to me.
