β β β β β I've started seeing Dr Thian about 5 years back. Dr Thian is always very thorough in his examination and review of my medical issues. The medicine prescribed by him are always effective in addressing my illnesses. In addition to my "GP" type consultations with Dr Thian, my family does our annual health checkups with him too.

β β β β β Dr. Anthony Thien from the Premier Clinic at 680304 is really not a good doctor. He mis-diagnosed my son's dyshidrotic eczemaΒ as HFMD just because there are blisters on his hands and feet. I kept telling him I don't think his is HFMD but he got really agitated & upset and insisted it was. Got me into quite a scare. My mother's instinct told me this is not HFMD (as he had no fever, no blisters in the mouth & was perfectly normal) and I had to seek a 2nd opinion (Dr Yun at The Family Clinic with a dermatology dip), which confirmed that it was just eczema ?ββοΈ

β β β β β I started seeing Dr Thian maybe 7 yrs ago, and since been back whenever I was sick (don't get sick often *knock on the wood) and even after consulting my employer's list of docs. Funny thing was, I don't live that near to the clinic, maybe about 20 mins drive there.
He attends to my issue quick and off I go after collecting my medication. Waste no time in the clinic and back home to rest. The consultation fee was rather cheap and the medication was effective, as compared to my employer's docs.
The clinic is clean and bright. Dr Thian is a nice male doctor and articulates well in his diagnosis.

β β β β β Doctor from this clinic is impatient. He does not show any sign of care to his patients or interest in his work. The worst part is that he seems to assume that most of the patients just came to see him to get medical certificate. It is very wrong attitude of him. There are other reviews complain about attitude of this doctor. I can vouch them since I experienced the same there.
Only upside is that nurses from receptions are very polite and nice unlike most of the clinics in Singapore.

β β β β β The doctor is weird in general. Dr. Anthony, he did not even examine me properly although there were no patients waiting outside he was in a rush and he basically sold me his medicines like this were a marketing business instead of a clinic. He kept trying to force me to buy his medicines and the charge was unreasonably and ridiculously high for such a lousy consultation. Other private doctors are cheaper and do a better job. I would definitely not suggest this clinic.

β β β β β This is my experience from my visit to this clinic 2 years ago.
I had the flu and went to his clinic to see Dr. Anthony Thien. I noticed that he looked uninterested when he examined me.
Then suddenly he said "Next time if you come here due to minor symptoms of flu, I will refer you to hospital. If you have a chickenpox, I don't mind giving you 5 days MC"
This simply shocked me. I didn't go there for fake MC. I had headache, muscle pain and feeling tired and I know very well that these are symptoms of viral infection.
Now let's talk about MC. I would not have came to clinic if I did not need the MC to take a rest at home and avoid transmitting flu virus to my colleagues at work. I can just buy medicine from drug store for flu. So if he is so unwilling to treat normal flu and issue MC, he should not practice as a GP.
I felt insulted by that incident. How could a doctor who has a license to practice have said "I will refer you to a hospital" sarcastically for common flu?

β β β β β Dr Anthony Thian is a very attentive and caring doctor.
His consultation plus medicine is the most affordable compared with other clinics.
Not only that, he is extremely experienced, is not only spot-on in his diagnosis, but always prescribes medicine that makes me recover quickly, compared to some clinics I have been to where it always takes more than one round to cure.
His bedside manners are also nothing short of therapeutic, as he is always able to lighten one's mood during sickness! I once had to have stitches done for a nasty cut, and his jokes made me forget the pain and discomfort I was going through whilst being stitched up by him! Not to mention his stitching was immaculate!
Oh, and if you ever need an injection and you are of those fearful of the needle, Dr Anthony has this ability to do it so fast and painlessly that you only want to go back to him if you ever need to have an injection again!
