β β β β β Quiet place tucked in a corner of Northpoint City on the 2nd floor. The food is nice and delicious, cooked with the fastidiousness of quality of the Japanese. Really worth a trip just to try. I recommend the Giga Chicken Rice set - it's humongous! Enough to feed 2 adults. Best part is it's on promotion. The Teppan Omu rice is nice and light too.

β β β β β For a family of 4, we ordered 3 different chicken set dinner from the promotional menu ($13.90 each) on Saturday Jun 18th. Given the generous portion on each plate, it was worth every dollar we paid. Believe me, you would have to pay more than $14.00 in Japan and the US. The Japanese rice had the "Q-Q" factor, well cooked. And look at the size of each tart in the attached picture, banana cream and strawberry tiramisu, were well plated. I have to thank the floor supervisor, Kam**, and the waitresses for their customer service were on check - attentive and approachable. For those who gave a below 2-star rating and non-constructive feedback in the reviews, I have to say to each his/her own taste/feel buds and hopefully, their comparisons were based on apple to apple, orange to orange. I know the younger and leaner couple who sat next to us emptied their 2 dinner plates.

β β β β β The udon tastes fine, but the western food is tasteless and looks like canteen food, definitely not worth $13.90, please avoid the western food...and the waiter put the chopsticks on a dirty tray before serving. Service is average-low. Probably will not come back again.

β β β β β Very new place so maybe food taste isnβt stable yet. Lots of room for improvements.
We came in for desserts and the ice cream wasnβt very good. The cream from the berry berry waffle tasted very artificial - not to my liking. The yoghurt from the mango waffles was OK! The waffles were ok - they were not the crispy type.
P.S. the banana chocolate wasnβt available though!

β β β β β The place isn't very aesthetically pleasing and the service is very slow. We ordered a chicken chop, cheesy napolitian, teppan napolitian, squid omurice, and ebi (prawn) omurice. The food arrived quickly (except the chicken chop which took about and additional 10 minutes), and it was hard to get the server's attention.
Quality of Food:
Pasta:
1. Other than the curry base, everything else is tomato based, and the tomato sauce tastes cheap, as if it came out from a tin can. The pasta was half cooked, it was hard.
Omurice: The omurice was also tomato based, a bit plain, with a bit of sauce on the side. The sauce was plastic-y but the caramelised onions were fine. The ebi (prawn) was fine, but it isn't as crispy and as juicy as you'd expect from a japanese restaurant, so it's still disappointing. As for the squid, the batter was so thick that you can barely eat the squid. But if you do, it is very rubbery.
Chicken Chop:
Even though the rest of the food wasn't up to personal expectations, the chicken chop was quite decent. The chicken was well cooked, was juicy and savoury. The fries were quite dry but well seasoned (not too salty, not bland.)
Milo Dinosaur:
The Milo Dinosaur never disappoints because it's the CLASSIC and nothing can go wrong with it. But for the price, it would be better if a bigger portion was served.
All in all, I don't think I'd come back here with anyone but was definitely worth a try. Since this place took over after the closure Eighteen Chefs, I wasn't expecting this restaurant to be here but decided to give it a try.

β β β β β Tried their opening special menu at $13.90++ which included a plain rice, corn soup and main. The corn soup was extremely starchy and the texture was like baby food. The fried mains were extremely distasteful, french fries were bland and soggy, chicken was hard. Will never visit this restaurant again. However, service was acceptable.
